I’ve gone to Capelli Salon since late 2021 and I’ve never had a bad experience. Leslie and Lindey Tay have both worked on my hair and everytime my hair has looked absolutely amazing. Not only do they have amazing skills and reasonable prices, they are both as sweet and welcoming as can be. It makes complete sense why Capelli is one of the top five salons in NWA.

I have been here 3X – Lindey Tay – this last visit was aweful. I could feel that she was in a hurry and wasn’t listening to me – she suggested to do the hair cut pre color her way – I made a joke – said ok – your the boss. Then she said instead of foils we are going to use a cap and pull the hair through it. I haven’t done that in 30 yrs – I said Lindey – I sense your in a hurry – I hope this cap thing works cause if it doesn’t – we will be doing it twice. I didn’t raise my voice – just voiced my thoughts cause now my hair was TOO short to foil so she says / cause she decided to cut it 1st. She then flipped and said my My Clients don’t talk to me like that neither will you. I said OK well I’m no longer client. Took the cap off my head and I left. What an inconvenience. That’s OK because I went right across the street to salon à la mode. And they’re Foiling my hair as I type this review. I will not be back to see Lindey Tay.

Leslie is absolutely amazing! I usually go for a quick dry cut during my lunch hour. I normally get a quick trim, but today I asked her opinion on a few things. She has has always given me the best suggestions on my fine/very thin hair. I had so many compliments after I came back to work! Capelli Salon is awesome and they even have cute little notes stating “We’re pretty awesome” because they are. It’s decorated cute, modern, and chic and everything about the place is aesthetically pleasing. It’s clean, welcoming, has nice natural light, and the perfect amount of trashy magazines to catch you up on any celeb life you care about. Leslie is the only person that’s ever done my hair there and she’s always done a fabulous job and I leave happier than I came. Her color and cut techniques are on point (especially balayage) and she is a solid conversationalist who can laugh at a joke and also crack one herself. Definitely recommend Capelli!!! It’s been a great find for me, has my business.
