I have been to this place previously for a haircut and I loved it. However, went back for a color and truly did not enjoy the experience. Everything seemed rushed, and the stylist did not even blow dry or style my hair. She kept blaming it on how much hair I have and that she ran out of time. I don’t even like the color ( it’s brighter than what I wanted ) but I couldn’t tell her that because I didn’t know until I came home and actually blow dried my hair. Extremely disappointed and won’t be going back.

Canvas is an amazing salon, where you can be pampered so that you walk out feeling confident & ready to take on the world again! I’ve had facials, haircuts, highlights and foils; my brows are retouched at every visit. They do specialty eyelashes that I’ve not experienced, but I hear that Stephanie is the absolute best. The stylists are amazing; there are pricing “tiers” that correspond to how much experience your stylist has and/or extra training. So there’s an upscale experience – with affordable pricing to fit your budget – waiting for those who dare 🙂 They also have a large stock of Kevin Murphy hair products and a few others I can’t recall. You will love everything about Canvas.

After hearing all the good that comes from Nicely & Co, it was time for me to experience it for myself. My consultation was set up with Ashley Lewis. With a very limiting work schedule and on short notice, Ashley managed to make time for me during her completely booked Saturday. Talk about going above and beyond! During the consultation, she really listened to what my vision was while giving very professional, yet personalized advice. As most people are, I was nervous to sit with a new stylist. She spoke in a way that assured me she knew what she was doing and she did so in a way that allowed me to fully understand the process. We were taking my hair from a faded brown to a dark brown to blonde ombré. When it came time for my appointment, Ashley had me in her chair for just shy of five hours. She never lost her spunk and her energy was very refreshing. She spoke to me as if I had been a long time friend, never having an awkward moment. The work that she did on my hair is unbelievable from the level of coloring skill to the playful layers she added in. The rest of the team is just as impressive. There is a wealth of knowledge and there is a culture in that salon that shows the passion they have. The willingness to help each other out and the quickness of greeting a client or answering the phone made it a welcoming environment. It’s an added bonus that the pricing of services is reasonable and that there wasn’t the pressure of upselling products. This experience truly was better than I could have expected!

This is a very nice salon with great employees!! I always get a great cut and style and the very best thing they have going for them in my opinion is the online booking service!! You can go on their site, pick out what you want done, pick a stylist, look at the calendar and book a date convenient for you!! I highly recommend !!
