I first went in and was unhappy with how my hair turned out for the price. I made a review and the manager personally called me apologizing to me, asking if I was comfortable to come back in to make my hair more how I wanted it, and it would be on the house. I went back and we sat down and actually talked all the steps out on fixing my hair and she showed me the colors she would order. The girl who did my hair was amazing. This place is very professional and honestly very kind, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun color!

Shelby is absolutely amazing! I definitely do not have the easiest hair due to some health issues, but she did a super thorough consultation and knocked it out of the park! I have never had a stylist do such excellent work. I also usually spend two or three more hours getting it done and she was precise and quick. Couldn’t recommend her more, I definitely rebooked again and can’t wait to keep having beautiful hair.

I got married in the Boone area last fall and needed a local hair salon to help with my bridal hair and makeup – they exceeded my expectations and did an amazing job!! Scheduling was easy, the salon is gorgeous, and everyone is so kind and friendly! Olivia did my hair & makeup and she is so talented – she listened to my vision and recreated it perfectly and made me feel super comfortable and relaxed! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience on my wedding day! If you are coming from out of town for your wedding and need a salon you can trust, Canvas Beauty Bar is definitely the way to go! Really Cute salon! I called for a last minute wash and blow dry and the receptionist was LOVELY — I believe her name is Zaya! She fit me in with Claire who herself was confident in her craft! I was in and out in 30 minutes! We are in town for business and I wanted to look cute for a business dinner tonight with my husband! They nailed it and I feel totally confident and cute! Thank you times a million!! I will be back 😀

If you live in the High Country and need salon services, Canvas is the place you want to go to get a really good cut from someone both talented & friendly for a great price. Terrible experience. I felt robbed for being charged $260 for a haircut and light highlights. That included them charging me $30 for a hair wash and blowout on top of my haircut price. The highlights were the wrong color and when I came back the same day to check in about it, they didn’t prioritize the fix and I had to wait a week. Then, communication between the owner (who said I wouldn’t be charged) and the stylist (super lovely lady) was nonexistent and my stylist tried to charge me $100 ($70 for toning and $30 for a wash) for the appointment where they were supposed to be fixing me hair. Truly a terrible overall experience. I wouldn’t recommend this salon to anyone.
