Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI had a terrible experience here. When I first got there, the owner did not make me feel welcome at all, she was not friendly or charismatic at all. Then after washing and blow drying my hair, she then began straightening it without my consent. Mind you I only got two feed-in braids, there was no reason to straighten my hair and even if she felt like there was she should have asked because I do have heat damage. On top of that the braids weren’t even neat at they were frizzy before I even left the salon. The she proceeded to charge me $93 on top of a $27 deposit for two braids. I had a terrible experience here. When I first got there, the owner did not make me feel welcome at all, she was not friendly or charismatic at all. Then after washing and blow drying my hair, she then began straightening it without my consent. Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityI was hoping this could be my new braid spot but I traveled from phoenix to a not so great experience. My appt was at 120 and it didn’t start until 230. There was no customer service as far as offering an updated start time, she just let me sit there and wait. No apologies for being late. Then when she was almost finished she asked if it would be ok to leave and pick up her kid. She was gone about 20 mins. No offer to discount the price since she started late AND left during the process. I understand being a working mom so I paid full price and have a 20% tip. I was hoping this could be my new braid spot but I traveled from phoenix to a not so great experience. My appt was at 120 and it didn’t start until 230. There was no customer service as far as offering an updated start time, she just let me sit there and wait. No apologies for being late.
