Hello! I’m Kaitlyn, the owner of Candid Beauty. I grew up in the PNW where I attended cosmetology school but relocated to the east coast in 2015. Here at Candid Beauty my mission is to always have you leaving feeling confident and beautiful while making sure you had a good laugh somewhere in between. When you sit in my chair you will probably hear some goofy stories about my two kitty’s Batman and Robin; you will surely hear about my family who still live in Washington state. I felt absolutely stunning on my wedding day thanks to Kaitlyn and her team. I didn’t have time to do a trial run, so I was slightly nervous, but I also loved all her photos and I trusted she would make me and my girls look amazing, which she 100% delivered on. Kaitlyn was so laid back and brought a really nice presence to our casual pre-wedding morning. I’m not a makeup expert, but she listened to exactly what the overall look was that I wanted, and she did even better than I could have asked. She was super easy to work with and had great communication – and that is saying something because her own wedding was the week after mine, and yet she juggled it all so well! 10 out of 10, absolutely would recommend! Kaitlyn was friendly to work with prior to the big day, and was amazingly helpful the day-of. She made me feel comfortable during the booking process and painted 9 faces all by herself in time to walk down the aisle.
