My first experience getting a Brazilian wax. Taylor Jones made my first time a extraordinary experience. No pain but a little sting but nothing unbearable. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. My first wax was done by Victoria and I couldn’t say enough good things about her. So professional! Made me feel beyond comfortable. Explained everything she was doing and held such great conversation that I almost forgot I was getting hair ripped out of my body haha. She taught me breathing techniques to help with the pulls and she worked so fast I was in and out in no time. I booked my second wax that same day for a full body. My second wax appointment I went to I BARLEY had hair on my body after 4 weeks of no shaving (I normally have THICK black course hair and would have to shave every other day or it was out of control). No razor bumps or ingrown hair and my hairs are significantly lighter and thinner. The second wax did not hurt at all. I was so calm and relaxed. Such a great experience. I met Candee the owner such a sweet and inspiring young black entrepreneur. The other staff who helped me check out was super sweet and inviting. Overall 10/10 would recommend. If you are nervous to go because of the pain DO IT. if you are nervous to show your body they will make you feel so comfortable. Beyond worth it. I’ve also been using the sugar scrub and moisturizer and it leaves my skin beyond soft and exfoliated. If you are thinking of coming in here is your sign. Do it you will not regret it and the results will be life changing. (I throw my razor away after the first session)

I’ve used the same lady 3 times. She’s super nice and a good conversationalist. The only neg. about this last time was that she missed quite a bit of hair in spots and I had to correct her, however, in these spots it was easy to see that hair was still present before pointing it out. The receptionist that day was also pretty rude at checkout. She kind of ignored me when I was asking a question then preceded to answer the phone while I was in mid sentence. She ended the call and acted like I wasn’t just talking to her. I repeated my question, which was about making sure my offer for a percentage off for being a returning customer was honored. She pointed out with slight attitude that it was on my account already. All in all, it was just an awkward encounter.

This place truly needs some SERIOUS renovations and general clean up. It was dirty, cold and very dated. The floors were a mess. Im glad I took something to cover my feet to take the walk over to where the table was. There were no blankets or or anything to cover the table or the part of my body that wasn’t being worked on. It was very cold. We were assigned to Kennedy to do our Brazilians and brows. She was an absolute dear. I couldn’t believe she only had 3months experience. She is well on her way to becoming top knotch. She was very thoughtful and professional and knew the science behind the process. I really appreciated her explaining as she went along. Thank you Kennedy.

Nikymae is one of the best waxers I’ve ever encountered. She’s so knowledgable and I could tell she’s passionate about skincare and giving you your best wax. I could also tell she’s into prevention based skincare, she doesn’t just want to treat your ingrowns and tell you to use a scrub (she recommends acids like glycolic and salicylic) – she wants to treat and prevent any ingrowns from happening ever again. She also made me really comfortable during my appointment, and I just loved my service. She is a top tier waxer and I’m glad to say I’ve found my new esthetician.
