Have been tanning here for 2 years. Staff is always friendly and the price is decent, but the lower level beds are outdated and not kept up with. One of the beds with facial tanners had a bulb out for 2-3 weeks recently – it’s the nicer bed on the level I was on. The other bed is older and doesn’t work as well as the other. Also, a horrendous fan noise that lasted a couple of weeks. The beds are wiped down after each use, but overall cleaning doesn’t look like it gets done. With being closed on Sunday’s this would be an opportune time to do cleaning under the acrylics and around the beds where there is dust and HAIR build up. I was told when canceling, I needed to be sure because prices were going up – for what? I don’t know. I’ve joined another tanning salon for the same, possibly lower price now, for better, cleaner beds. Not worth the money if you ask me.

Critical: ProfessionalismDO NOT use the groupon for this place…. manager refused it although it states on the groupon that I printed out that DAY I came in that it was accepted at 3 locations, which were Grand Prairie, Hurst, and BURLESON. She refused to even look at the voucher that I had that was dated and stated the locations. Sadly I have tanned there before and enjoyed it, but the downright refusal, to point that I was told Mansfield and other locations will take it just not Burleson. DO NOT use the groupon for this place…. manager refused it although it states on the groupon that I printed out that DAY I came in that it was accepted at 3 locations, which were Grand Prairie, Hurst, and BURLESON. Critical: ProfessionalismI went in for a versa spa session and requested a clear light. The lady set it up and sent me back to the room. When I finished, I realized that it was most definitely not clear. I came out super bronzed and orangey looking. I don’t like the bronze setting for this reason which is why I picked CLEAR. I wanted to make sure that I wasn’t crazy and asked her if she had set it to clear, but she responded that they didn’t have clear. She never said at all that they didn’t have it. I was completely caught off guard and did not get the service I requested. I would have gone somewhere else if I had known. I came out super bronzed and orangey looking. I don’t like the bronze setting for this reason which is why I picked CLEAR. I just moved to Burleson, Texas from Oklahoma and searched many places to find a new tanning salon, I decided to go with Cancun Tan since it is so close to my home. HUGE MISTAKE… First of all, their pricing plans are incredibly difficult and misleading, I was told to just sign up for a membership, but then call and cancel my plan after 30 days, because in the long run I would be saving money… huh? I just wanted a simple 30 day package! Second of all the hours are very inconvenient they close earlier on Fridays then they do on the weekdays (which is opposite for a salon). Not only that, but 20 minutes before they close they will not let you tan. My second week of tanning, I walked in at 8:39 on a Tuesday and tanned at no problem, Wednesday afternoon I stopped in to tan again in the afternoon. I was told I had to wait a complete 24hours and that I would need to wait until after 8:39 to tan again, so I left irritated (Oklahoma does not make you wait exactly 24 hours- you can just go once a day at anytime). I get back to the salon that night at 8:45, the girls says we are closed and that no more tans are taken 20 minutes before they close… So pretty much unless I went every night at 8:39pm I wouldn’t be able to tan and would have to miss a day of tanning. When I explained that to the girl that works in the evenings her response was just sorry and she turned her head. She was extremely rude each time I went in. She never acknowledged me, and just says fingerprint when I walk to the counter, nothing more. If this wasn’t enough, the rooms do not have radios, the bulbs seem weak- it took 4 tans for me to show any difference. Lastly, if you do decide to try this place you will notice the evening girl leaves the open sign turned off, so make sure you check the door and not the sign. I absolutely would not recommend this salon to others, and wish I would have had a review to read before I spent over 65.00 on a one month medium package- that only has one “descent” bed.

Love this place. Girls are nice and friendly everytime. They love to talk about tanning etc. Which is fun because it’s a hobby as well as practical. Respectful and patient if you have questions, even beyond what they do concerning skin care etc. I use the stand up tanner and It’s awesome! Red light as well… I always feel like I’m in and out in a flash.

This place is fantastic. The girls are always so helpful with choosing a membership and work with your skin type to keep your tan healthy and not burn. I burn easily and have had a healthy tan for the last month. Even my family says I look healthy now with a tan. I would recommend Cancun tan to ally friends and family. Very happy!

I canceled my membership 1 day after paying my monthly bill. They said that was it and it was good for the rest of the month. What they didn’t tell me was that they will charge me the next month as well and not start my process my cancel request until 59 days because i canceled one day after paying my monthly fee. Very shady business tactics. And after calling to request my money back for the month I can’t use becuase I don’t even live there anymore and told me that there was nothing that they could do and were very rude. There are plenty of tanning locations in burleson, I would recommend you try some place else.
