Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityThey are fantastic and just overall great people. I very rarely write reviews (This may actually be my first time writing a review on google reviews), but I can not say enough about Canaan Nails , the owner, and the team that works there. I go in just to say hello and use it as my free time to have an awesome pedi/mani while having good conversation. And, the massages are amazing! They know my name, they remember my children even when they have not been in for months. Truly a great group of people and they do great work. Thank you. They are fantastic and just overall great people. I very rarely write reviews (This may actually be my first time writing a review on google reviews), but I can not say enough about Canaan Nails , the owner, and the team that works there. I go in just to say hello and use it as my free time to have an awesome pedi/mani while having good conversation. And, the massages are amazing! Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueVery disappointing experience. Manicurist was rushing through the entire service as there were other people in the salon without a dedicated person. Manicure was marginal, the woman was moving so fast, she got polish on my skin and didn’t fully clean it up with the nail polish remover. Pedicure was pretty bad – again, VERY rushed, left a nail broken, and dead skin/ cuticles largely untouched. Polish didn’t even cover full nail – it looked like the work of a 5 yr old. Tools were not clean, and were taken from a drawer instead of the plastic wrapper which would have indicated they had been sanitized. Very disappointing experience. Manicurist was rushing through the entire service as there were other people in the salon without a dedicated person. Manicure was marginal, the woman was moving so fast, she got polish on my skin and didn’t fully clean it up with the nail polish remover. I have t gotten my nails done since pre covid and was feeling eager to have a professional fix up my nails after months of incorrectly cutting my own cuticles and terrible nail paining jobs. Upon arrival they took my temperature and had many other covid safety precautions throughout the business, which gives such peace of mind. Clara did my nails and I just have to tell you, reader.. it’s the best manicure I’ve ever had. She was so meticulous and very clearly cared about her crafts outcome. She was always double checking her work to make sure they were even and no smudges, she asked me if I liked the shape of the nails (I wish more places did this) and to top of it off just had such a sweet, charming personality. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to finally look down at my hands and like what I see again! I never write reviews but feel compelled to tell you about my lovely experience at Canaan Nails. I live in the city and was in town for the day. I have t gotten my nails done since pre covid and was feeling eager to have a professional fix up my nails after months of incorrectly cutting my own cuticles and terrible nail paining jobs.
