Pretty good availability even if you don’t have an appointment. Quick and simple service. Place is clean and the lady is friendly. Pretty good price too for the area. Just don’t expect super detailed and fancy nail work. Overall great for a quick mani or pedi.

Critical: Punctuality, QualityI went in to get my gel acrylic nails removed. They were close to my house so I made an appointment to go there. When I first got there, the lady told she would get me water to get the nails softened, which she never did, and then came back to literally use an utensil to RIP the acrylics off of my nails, which was very uncomfortable and painful. She had to cut the tips with a nail clipper to make it easier, so at the end my nails were all uneven. She did a quick file but I literally had pieces of my nail hanging off and all uneven, as you can see in the pictures. On the right hand you can still see some color on my nail from the acrylics. I kindly pointed it out to her and she said she couldn’t take it off, it would come off in a few days. I got acrylic gel done for the first time. Over all, I was happy with the results after I got it done. I didn’t know what was meant to be right or wrong since it was my first time but there are a few things that i know that definitely weren’t right – i was told the nails would stay for 4 weeks, 3 of my nails already snapped off. it’s been only 2 weeks. another thing was that when the nails were glued on, there was a lot of residue that oozed out from under the nails and wasn’t cleaned up. So the finishing was very tacky. It looks very dirty. I see the place has good reviews over all so maybe mine was just a bad experience, but safe to say I won’t be going back here!

I got a pedicure with no polish. The cleanup of my feet, toenails and cuticles was amazing. A great massage and lots of dead skin removal. Can’t speak to any polishing skills but I will definitely go again for a cleanup.

I gave them a second chance for pedicure and again poor service. They have old nail polish on the shelf and they rush the work to get walk-in clients. Half of the procedures were missed and I was kicked me out of the chair to get another client. Disappointed.

The ladies at Cambridge Nail & Skin Spa are professional, detail-oriented, and so nice! They were a true blessing on my Valentine’s Day. I moved to Cambridge/Somerville area recently and was looking for a treat yourself moment to celebrate my ongoing relationship with myself. I went with a basic manicure and pedicure. Highlights include massage chairs, thorough job grooming and cleaning the nails, high quality products in a variety of scents (they let you choose from 8 lotion options); hand, foot, and leg massage, and attentive service. The ladies were also so positive and friendly. You could tell they take pride in doing a great job and delivering a relaxing experience for their customers. Such a bad experience, lady looks untrained, she doesn’t know how to do pedicure, she don’t even do the shape, I explained her can you round up my nails but she was doing on top, when it’s time to clean she just did little bit but she pay more attention on leg massage,I plan to do my manicure too but after that I get so mad I changed my plan,I feel I wasted my time and money, I will never ever go there, I ask the owner that is she new? I love this salon so much that I only come here having moved from Cambridge to Malden. Lena is amazing! All of the beauticians are very professional, punctual and thorough. They do great work as well. They are also polite and courteous too – often times if the meter is running low they will run out and pay it for you! I wouldn’t go anywhere else in the area.
