I have been coming back to Calvert Rejuvenations for several years now, and it is always incredibly soothing. I had a facial with Natalie last weekend: the room was exactly the right temperature, the music was soft and relaxing, I never felt hurried, and I left with my face absolutely glowing! I highly recommend any of the services here: I have done massages with and without cupping and several different facials, and every time I leave, I am delighted with the experience.

Literally it’s been almost a year since I have been working from home due to the Covid-19 pandemic and I was desperately in need of a massage. The longer working hours, being stuck inside 24/7 & no decompression time have taken a toll and I really just needed a break. I had been googling and reading another source on local spa recommendations and this one caught my eye. I was specifically looking for a spa that offered couples massages in a serene, quiet environment that was longer than fifty minutes. This hidden gem, is located in Herndon, VA off of a court. You drive to the end of a court and then you continue down a slightly curvy road and these medical townhouses soon appear on your right. Strict Covid procedures are in place. Upon entering the spa, the receptionist warmly greets you, takes your temperature and while you are waiting for her to notate your temps, there is an entire wall of Éminence beauty products…which if you are not familiar, are top notch. You are then taken into the relaxation room and are offered water or tea (they have various loose tea blends) to choose from as you sit next to a (electric) fireplace which gives out a lot of warmth. It was cozy and utterly perfect on our rainy Sunday visit. We were the only clients booked during our time there, which was much appreciated. I had chosen a 90 minute Swedish massage session for my husband and I. You are wearing your mask during the entire session but it was fine. His masseuse was Diane N. and he said she was awesome. She even addressed some areas that my husband did not even know that it was bothering him but he said he felt 110% overall better afterwards. Gudleif was my masseuse and she worked out the horrible knots and ropes that I have in my neck, shoulders and back due to all the tension and stress that I have been dealing with. She was also very careful during the massage on my injuries that I (now) have from a prior car accident and would ask me during the session if she could rotate that injured limb a certain degree. After our session was over, I had also chosen a 45 minute session in the infrared sauna to help release toxins & speed up muscle recovery. While the internal temperature in the sauna is only 150 degrees, it’s a very dry heat and I had to tap out after thirty minutes. My husband was able to do the full 45 minute session. I, personally felt beat up when I left there but I knew that Gudleif had done an excellent job at really working on getting those knots out of my shoulder/back area because I could feel those muscles twitch when it was worked out. I took some Advil when I got home, drank a ton of water and the following day I felt a thousand times better! The tension in my neck/shoulder/back area is gone & I do not feel tense (as I previously did) in those areas. We are definitely going to make another appointment here, it was amazing and the staff is excellent!

I got a 90 minute massage with Leanne and a facial with Natalie, and it was amazing! I’ve been having pain in my shoulders, especially the left side after having Covid and working in healthcare (doing a lot of heavy lifting/stress). Leanna is so kind and made me feel so good with her deep pressure massage. Also, my skin feels amazing after the facial I received from Natalie. I didn’t have a skincare routine (never really knew what to do with my skin) and she helped me pick out good products that make my skin feel great and glowing. Amazing and very friendly staff. Highly recommend. They are awesome. Will definitely be going back!

Positive: QualityI’m never one to leave reviews, but I was blown away my how amazing my massage was (I believe with Angela). I’ve suffered from chronic headaches for months only to have her amazing work help release built up tension I’ve dealt with that it turns out has been causing it. Can’t wait to come back.

I’m super ticklish when it comes to massages and I never get them. I was in town and my cousin said I should give them a try and I did. My experience turn out great and Diane the massage therapist was super informative and gave me a lot of knowledge. I left wanting to do another massage, I’m surely going to make another visit when I visit VA again.

They were lost during the computer system transfer and was told i had nothing unused. I proved that I had 5 unused via several email confirmations they sent me but refused to honor it. On my most recent visit, Jen worked on my laundry list of items that needed attention and I left the massage with less pain in my lower back and left shoulder. Jackie gave me a very relaxing facial, including facial cupping – my new favorite thing – and I could breathe better, a treat for this allergy girl. Get you there!

No proper communication with anyone to rectify the nearly $300 charge a season later. The owner has been impossible to contact. The secretarial system is uncooperative and nonexistent.
