This place used to be awesome. I think it is under new ownership. Went to get my lashes done. I looked on the website it said 100$ and up (i usually get them done in Dorchester for 60 for a set and they are awesome but i didn’t want to drive that far) so i called the woman on the phone to confirm and she told me $100 for a full set. Me and me aunt get there she does the lashes. They came out good she did a good job. When the appointment was finished she tells us it’s 130.00 no big deal as that’s still pretty good for lashes. I let her know that the website says $100.00 so do the brochures on her counter AND whoever answered the phone said 100.00 too she argued with me for 10 mins even though i repeatedly told her i was fine with the price i just wanted to let her know she should tell ppl before hand that the price went up and maybe update the website and brochures. All good i leave her a good tip and leave. 2 weeks later and my fill appointment is today 9:30 I get there at 9:25 door is locked so i wait… 9:30 door still locked… 9:35 door still locked so i leave around 9:40 I get a call at 10:00 and explain that i left because the door was still locked and i thought maybe she forgot about me. She argues with me some more that she WAS there at 9:30 (she 100 percent was not because i was!!!!) then she tells me she is canceling my aunts appointment the next day because maybe she won’t show up either. This lady is very argumentative for no reason dealing with her is a headache I’m never going back there.

I received an acrylic refill here but I was extremely rushed by the woman doing my nails, she was in a hurry to get to her next client telling me to “hurry up” when I told her I wanted two small designs. Service was cut short. Nails did come out pretty good though. Acrylic nails

Got my acrylics removed and they were ripped off instead of soaked and wrapped which caused damage to my real nail. Lady doing my nail cut two fingers one was bleeding bad. She dipped my bleeding finger in the dip powder…my dip nails have creases in them and some are bumpy

Place is clean and workers are friendly. My manicure was good until one of their regulars walked in for a pedicure and the woman doing my nails sped through my paint. They were messy, 2nd coat of polish and top coat visibly not covering each nail, paint on finger tips and had me go to a dryer prior to my top coat so she could start the walk in pedicure. $30 later and I had to clean my paint job up myself when I got home.

BEST Nail salon around! Everyone is always so welcoming & happy to see you when you walk in the door. I am very particular about my nails and my needs are always accommodated! My nails are always perfect every time I leave! Would highly recommend!!! Love it here!

I work in a spa near the area and noticed one of my clients nails one day and how beautiful they looked. She told me without a doubt to go to Calming Lotus and I would love it. I travel 30 minutes from my home on my off day to go and get my nails done and I see the owner Tina. She takes her time, never rushes through my service, and my nails always look amazing. It can be busy so it is always best to call ahead to ensure you’ll be seen but even if I walked in without an appointment I’d wait, the service speaks for itself. I always do the dip powder manicure and the espresso martini pedicure is heavenly.

I went to Calming Lotus after my nails were botched by another salon in the area. They were very friendly and were able to take me right in. My nails were done a week ago at a salon nearby and they made such a mess of them. Johnny did my nails and was awesome. He was friendly and chatted with me the entire time. I’ll be going back for my next fill and pedi 🙂

Love this place!! I’ve been going here for years!! Johnny did my nails a couple days ago. And did a Christmas ombré look! They came out great and I’ve gotten nothing but compliments. I would highly recommend!! Great customer service and a nice atmosphere!!
