I’ve been to DOZENS of waxing salons… I stopped shopping around once I found Calm Spa. The staff is so personable, professional, and efficient! I love the vibe here. Though Brazilian waxes are not the most relaxing, it is quick, seamless, and least painful compared to the many other places I have tried. Calm Spa has a large variety of services and tons of products to choose from! I highly highly recommend this salon. I’ve been a customer for years and will continue to be!

My first time at the salon I had a wonderful facial with Braelyn. I did the Glow ‘N Go facial. She was great in asking what my concerns were and go over things ahead of time. I have extremely sensitive skin which is also dry and every single product felt great, nothing irritated my face. The space was warm, and clean with wonderful ambiance. My face was clear and glowing afterwards. I will definitely be back.

I made an appointment online on 9-22 for a cut and color on 9-28. On 9-28 I came in and they said they had no appointment. Frustrating, but I made an appointment for 10-8. Today I come in and they say the appointment was made incorrectly and there’s not enough time to do a color. Even though I had screen shots of my original appointment and the second appointment was made in store and the front desk was told I needed a color and cut. After 40 minutes of my stylist going back and fourth with the manager they offered me a conditioning treatment for when I have the services done and come back a THIRD TIME. I understand one mix up, but TWICE? I have 5 children and it’s very difficult to make an appointment. Both of these times I had to pay babysitters just to be sent back home. The main bother for me is the manager never spoke to me directly. I’ve been a GM for 7+ years it is completely disrespectful to go back and fourth with a stylist instead of speaking to me directly. Unfortunately they probably do good work here but I will never be back after how I was treated.

Hair cut was meh, messed up my bangs, wanted curtain bangs, even showed a pic of what I wanted, they didn’t blend, looked very strait and didn’t frame my face, also I said I wanted a style which is straitened hair, they charged me for a style but blow dried my hair with a brush and called it good. Then stood there and watched to see what tip I’d give them when I paid. Tip isn’t required, we can choose to give it or not, it’s a gratitude tip, guilting me into giving a tip will make me never want to return

I love Calm! I was very nervous to get my hair done but Elle Baker did an amazing job! She took the time to speak with me before doing my hair and find what I like best. She really knows her stuff! She gave me a partial balayage and a trim. She worked wonders on my hair.

This review is long over due. I have been blow away every time I go to an appointment at Calm Spa. I receive several different services there: hair, waxing, facials, and nails. The service is so exceptional that I have my appointments booked out for an entire year. Mind you I also drive 45 min to this Spa every other week. Not only are they the best in the business but the service you receive is top notch. I have enjoyed getting to know the staff and the owners Todd and Jessica Powell. This is a place I obviously would recommend to anyone in search of a spa/ salon.

I went to Tanisha for my very first waxing ever and she was so kind and accommodating. ❤️ I was pretty nervous and she was there with lots of encouragement! Tanisha is extremely professional and has always made me feel so comfortable at my appointments. She also is quick and precise and I’m in and out of my waxing follow ups in 10 minutes! She’s the best!

My aunt got me a Brazilian wax as a gift before my wedding four years ago and I have been hooked ever since. I have gone to Tanisha and Jess and they are both amazing and super friendly. It never feels awkward and I love that I am in and out fast, so it doesn’t take up a lot of my day. Highly recommend!
