HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS PLACE!!! The parking lot is run down and filthy. The technicians are extremely rude and very pushy even when you know what you want. I had a set of acrylic tips put on and was nicked and burnt by the nail drill multiple times, and even cut by the nail scissors. The technician continuously snapped at me. A child could have painted my nails better. After leaving this salon I immediately went to another shop and spent almost 2 hours having them fix this disaster only to hear I was the 3rd customer to come in after the very same experience from this salon. LADIES BEWARE – THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!! I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE A NEGATIVE RATING IF I COULD.

I went to get my acrylics off and they just ripped them off with a nail tip, no soaking or anything just ripped them off taking a layer of my nail off and charged me 20$. I only went because I thought they would do it the right way in soaking my nails to keep the health but when I asked they said it would take to long. Very unprofessional and If I knew that was the way of them doing it I would of done it myself. Very poor experience. Wouldn’t recommend!

By far the BEST nail salon on the South Shore. The family that owns it are very welcoming, service is beyond exceptional and the prices for their services are reasonable. The salon itself is always immaculate which is a big deal to me. California Nails is the only place I will ever go for waxing and for my mani/pedis.

I have had my nails filled for 30 years and have never had a bad experience until tonight. Charged $18 for a fill, “standard” and $3.00 for a broken nail – again, no problem. I asked to have my nails cut down a little as they do grow! Wanted to charge me $2 to cut the nails down! WHAT? I have never heard of that! Then at the end I had a cuticle sticking up, asked if she was going to cut that – TRULY told me another $5 – I told her NO THANKS! No lotion, no massage, will not ever recommend or go back! First time I did not tip in my life, this was the manager. I don’t know how they will keep customers! I would not even give this place 1 star but had to to post

If you are interested in getting your skin filed and cut open, then go here for sure. I love bleeding when I’m paying to be relaxed. Some nails are uneven and look like Stevie Wonder did them and others look fine. They are not friendly, which I guess is fine since I don’t like small talk, but they just seem like they don’t give a damn. Close your business and do something you enjoy.

They use to be great but recently I went there to have powder, I was told no powder so I went t with gel. I asked about tips one lady refused the owner I guess came down and took over. 2 weeks later I had to go back and have them taken off because my thumb nail got totally infected. I have a slice in my nails all the way to my nail bed that I just popped with puss. I wish I could post a picture of it. I would not go there ever again..
