Got my nails done today. The lady who did my nails was very gentle when she did the cuticles (I’ve had other people nick my skin and make me bleed). She was very patient and paid attention to detail. I just wanted something simple for the holidays.

So this was my first trip to California Nails. I saw they had decent reviews and thought I give them a chance. I went in for a manicure, and left highly disappointed. My nails look like a 10 year old painted them. They do a good job cleaning up your nail but not good when it comes to color. I honestly could’ve done a better job myself. I would not recommend going here. Yes they are cheap,but its a bad cheap!

Place was recently remolded, looks great inside, manicurist I got was Yen(Jen) she was super friendly and did an amazing job on my pedicure, 2nd time there and wait time was about 5 minutes, I’ll b coming back.

Very concerned about proper sanitization methods. I got a pedicure and they used what looked like an old used pumice stone on my feet. I’m so worried the tools weren’t cleaned properly too. I really hope I’ll be okay but I will not return to this salon. Pedicure, Manicure

Honestly sad for the service I got. She didn’t clean up my cuticles. Left two nails uneven. Didn’t really file the nails correctly or as nicely. Nor did she clean up the nail polish. I believe she was trying do mine quick and sadly didn’t put in the effort.
