Do not waste your money. This was a brand new set and the gel paint started peeling after six days and one broke after 10 days. I am not hard on my nails and it took very little to chip the paint and break the nail. I have had issues with this before but I went back because they are friendly but the quality in my opinion is not great. Sadly, I will never use this nail salon again after this experience. I have been getting my nails done regularly for five years and this is the only nail place that I have had issues at when it comes to keeping my color and nails in good shape

The employees were nice but definitely won’t go back. Wanted stiletto shape… As I always do. The sides are uneven, the points are not all pointed (which I brought up and 2 of the women worked together to get them pointed, they still aren’t) and even the paint job isn’t all that great. Left wanting to cry after spending $50 on nails and tipping $15 because, I too am a tipped worker and couldn’t leave without tipping.

We have been going to California Nails for over 13 plus years. My daughter made an appointment for 2 adults and 2 children. The lady on the phone said oh, ok see you at 4. One had her toenails painted only. We had to wait an hour from the time we wanted the appointment. No big deal. When we got inside Tina said they couldn’t do mine because they can only do 3 at a time for appointments. I asked her why she didn’t tell my daughter that on the phone. Then I asked her if I would’ve called and made an appointment by myself if they would’ve done that. She said yes. I told her that’s the same thing as making 4 for an appointment. She said noooo. My daughter heard them with a customer on the phone and they said ok 3 for pedis and 1 for nails. Ok, see you tomorrow. I would say it’s closer to 15 years with them. I have went in at Christmas and give each girl $5 for a gift. Anyone that has done my nails and pedi gets a $10 tip. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AFTER THAT SERVICE. Oh, by the way a woman was like 20 minutes late so they didn’t have a customer. Just saying. I don’t get on the internet and give this type of review but shame on you at California Nails. You don’t treat long term customers this way.

This is the first time I have ever used this salon and it is definitely the LAST! To start they charged me $15.00 more for the same services than my normal salon. Secondly my pinky finger is only 1 of the 3 fingers that she made bleed while using the filing tool. IT WAS PAINFUL! I’m a very shy person and NEVER COMPLAIN but I had to tell her she was hurting me or she would just continued she didn’t even realize she was making my fingers bleed. Lastly the tips of my nails are stating to come off, I have NEVER had the dip powder come off like this, and after only 6 days???????? I have the same service done every 2 -3 weeks it’s clear something was not done correctly! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
