I went to 2 other nail shops that were supposed to open at 11am but were closed so I made my way down to California Nails! I didn’t care who did them but I saw my girl Kathy was in! She’s the best so I waited a little longer for her but it was worth it! It was a nice experience and my birthday nails are beautiful!

I went to California nails on my birthday which was February 27th. I got a pedicure with gel polish. The next day, February 28th on my right foot the polish was completely gone on my toe. I called the same day and it was fixed with no problem. Fast forward today, March 2nd on my left foot the polish is completely gone again on one of my toes. The pedicure I received was good but the gel polish is not. I am highly upset because this was a birthday gift and it cost $63. If I am paying this much for something I would expect to get what I paid for. I had regular polish that last longer than this. It haven’t been a week and my gel polish keep coming off. Now, I’m out of $63 and “gel polish” that keep coming off!

I absolutely love this nail salon. They are always pleasant with me. I am always in and out. I have gone to multiple people over the years at this location and they all have done me right. My daughter absolutely loves two (spell check) he is the our second favorite after Kathy. Kathy always makes sure everyone is taken care of even when they are extremely busy. I always send anyone I know here!

I got an acrylic gel balance about a week ago. Horrible experience with my nails. All of my nails are chipping which I have never had this experience. One nail is even breaking. I have never had this experience before. I also paid the most I have ever for my nails, 75 dollars to be exact.

This is a nice place to come if you’re in a rush and just need something done so you don’t look like you don’t keep yourself up. However for the routine pamperers who pay attention to detail it might be wise to look elsewhere. But if you’re not doing any foot photo shoots anytime soon this place will do. They don’t buff your feet so if you’re callused make sure you ask specifically for that. My friend and I both went here together and we both feel they just did an OK job. The staff was super nice

Pre-COVID, this was my go to nail salon. The techs were generally high quality, they took appointments and worked with dip polish. Now, its average. I realize they are trying to run a business but they have sacrificed customer service for cash flow. My regular tech is very good and I try to schedule my appointment when it’s less busy. This time, I couldn’t. I arrived a bit early and they said “come back in 20 minutes.” I come back and she’s working on a NEW customer while I am waiting. I’m giving 3 stars because she is excellent. I am going to look for a new tech.

I got a full set almond shaped and paid 100 dollars and even tipped 10 dollars despite the fact that the man who did my nails had an attitude and was being impatient because I didn’t like the way he was doing my Frenchtip. A day after getting my nails done I started noticing my nails cracking from the side because the acrylic was too thin and less than a week later I was missing two nails, now it’s two weeks later and I’m missing 4 and now I’m going to have to pay for ANOTHER full set because the quality of the set I got here wasn’t good. I work hard for my money and if I’m going to pay 100 dollars for a full set it should last. I will say that Kathy is really nice and when I did not like the French tip that the guy who sits next to her did she did a beautiful job in fixing it. If I ever go back she is the only person that will be doing my nails. Her work is quality.
