Amazing service, I haven’t been here in years at this location. But they did them exactly as I asked. And I will definitely be making that 30 min drive just to go back to them the next time I need them done!!!!

I had a nail dip done by the man with the grey streak in his hair, the very next evening my nail chipped, so I filed it down, then it happened again to another nail, so I decided to call & let them know.

This was my first time to California Nails, having moved to Chester a year ago. The nail attendant was very rude and rushed us through the decision on what myself and my 11yo daughter wanted to get. I asked the pricing for normal pedi and mani for my daughter: of which he quoted $60 (w/gel) and $45 (without gel). I thought this was pretty steep for a child compared to what we paid in Midlothian prior. This was my birthday and my daughter had been looking forward for this time spent. I was ok with what she wanted, all I wanted was a normal manicure which I believe came to $45. The nail tech. rushed on rapidly stating how he did not want us to come back and complain about the nails if we chose the regular mani/pedi instead of the gel, while he threw the nail colors onto the counter for us to choose. He hadn’t even started doing the nails on any one of us and was already stating on how we were going to complain if the nails were messed up depending on our choice. He was so loud, not forgetting that the salon was also full. Not to forget, he kept getting confirmation in his language from one or some of his co-workers along with a demeaning laugh. I may not understand his language but I can tell it was toward our conversation because he was speaking to the lady as he spoke to us. As an ICU nurse, I have dealt with patients from all backgrounds and one thing I always remember is to have and show respect when caring for my patients. I believe the way you treat others matters, it’s more of how would you want to be treated if the situation was reversed. I had to remind myself that my reaction would have a major reflection on how I reacted especially in front of my 11yo, so I chose to be calm. I made sure she got what she wanted and let the nail tech know, my daughter will get what she desired and in my mind his behavior was not going to affect our time we had plan to spend together. I believe he approached me in a manner where he is either used to certain responses or expected a different response. I choose not to ever go to this nail salon again because of the rude attendant. The lady that did my nails did a great job, even though my big toe was smudged under the drying table. After being notified to fix it, she made no attempt to even look at it. After more than 5 minutes, I decided it wasn’t even worth the wait. Leaving the salon, I had to have a sit down with my daughter and reminded her on how to treat others. I could have chose to leave before we even started but being that my daughter was already in the chair and feet in the water, I chose not to make a scene and receive my services. Being humble takes us a long way and how you treat others matters. But with this experience, I would not recommend any of my family or friends to use this nail shop in the future.

My nails were terrible. Lumpy, ridiculously thick in some spots, very thin in others. She didn’t even take the acrylic all the way to bottom of my nails so when I left, it looked like they were already a week grown out. The salon was not busy at all, one of the employees was asleep in one of the pedicure chairs, but it felt very rushed. I had never been to this salon before but I was given a gift certificate and was excited about getting my nails done again after years of not having them. When I walked in my first impression was that it was very bright and clean, but the employees weren’t particularly friendly, and the quality of the finished product just guaranteed that I will never go back, and I will definitely not recommend this salon to anyone.

The absolute worst set of nails I have ever seen. They were lumpy and deformed. This is not even the correct color. Do not go to this place. Take the time and go to Gold Star nails where they know what they are doing. Acrylic nails

First I will start off by saying that I am a respectful person. I believe in treating others the way I’d like to be treated. From the beginning this guy came off as rude. I saw that he didn’t care to have a convo with me and that was fine but I did say hello with no response from him but a dirty look. He did a horrible job with my pedicure. Didn’t clean underneath nails and didn’t do good with my cuticles. So much so that they caught a lot of nail polish. When I POLITELY asked him to clean them he insisted that they were fine. I had showed him what I was talking about and he started speaking in his language to another employee. She came over and pointed out what I was talking about and he started to wipe around it. Not once actually cleaning the polish I was talking about. So this time I pointed and touched my OWN foot to show him the polish I was talking about, this guy had the nerve to shove my hands away from my feet. I’m sorry but at that point he crossed a line. I felt a strong urge to shove my foot in his face but instead calmly told him that I felt it was rude what he just did and that I am a paying customer just asking that he remove nail polish from my damn cuticles. SIMPLE CLEAN UP! After all that attitude I dealt with, I took an even closer look at my nails and you can see all the lines from an uneven polish. HANDS DOWN THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER at a nail salon. Before you comment on how I’m over exaggerating here, please remember this guy LITERALLY shoved my own hand away from my own feet because he was irritated by my request that I was being extremely polite about. How would you have felt?
