Took my 2 year old grandson for his first haircut. Marianna was excellent. Kept singing kids tunes to him the whole time while trimming, and cutting. Using both scissors and electric trimmers. She was fast (10 minutes) and very astute dealing with him while he sat on my lap. And the haircut looked really nice on him. Hairstyling

My hairstylist Kim was very nice and sweet. I came in for a walk in and a simple trim. She gave me some layers after seeing the condition of my hair (had not been cut for over a year), and I am very happy with it. She gave me exactly what I asked for, and treated me well even though I was a first time client not from the area. Recommend this place!

Have been coming here for years – it’s a no frills reasonably priced haircut, everyone who works there is a sweet auntie type. Julie is my girl, and Sadaphone is also great! If you’re a woman with a pixie, beware that Jong only knows one cut for you and you’ll get it no matter what your specific request actually is.

The person she mentioned to me was not working, so I set an appointment with Julie for the next day. Julie was right on time, very professional while also being friendly. She evaluated my hair and what would be the cut in mind and got started. She did an absolutely fabulous job! Annie and Maryanna are also fabulous! The salon was super clean, took my temp before getting my hair cut and had plastic dividers between stations. My overall experience was very positive. I was referred to California Cuts by someone and called to make an appointment. The person she mentioned to me was not working, so I set an appointment with Julie for the next day. Julie was right on time, very professional while also being friendly. She evaluated my hair and what would be the cut in mind and got started. She did an absolutely fabulous job! This is a great salon for getting a decent haircut for a decent price. They do a much better job than a place like Great Clips but not as good as fancy salons, which is more than fair for $25.

Great service! Very polite greeting and warm welcome. Quaint setting with a friendly yet professional staff. Clean and tidy shop. The only downside is they do not offer coloring or permanents. I can understand no perms but no color? Seems like a hassle to get style one place and color another..? Oh well it’s all good. I cut ( and color) my own hair! I take someone there for wash and style.

They have clear curtains around every station, plexiglass shield at the front counter and an air purifier. Everyone was wearing masks and gloves and everyone was very friendly. Been getting my haircut here for probably more than 20 years. I got lucky and went in Monday, just before I believe they were closed down again by the governor. They have clear curtains around every station, plexiglass shield at the front counter and an air purifier. Everyone was wearing masks and gloves and everyone was very friendly. Basic and inexpensive, but surprisingly high quality, at least for me. Every (mens) haircut (from several different people) has been very good or better. The easy walk from BART brought me in, but the service kept me coming back.
