Critical: Professionalism, QualityI was excited to get my hair done by Rob because of all of the great reviews I’ve heard, however my experience there was unfortunate and left me very upset. I asked for a balayage and showed a reference photo. He didn’t explain too much to me before jumping into the process. He seemed very rushed and didn’t keep good track of the bleach on my hair. The “highlights” in the balayage were hardly blended or faded into my natural roots and had harsh blunt lines. I was very disappointed and reached out to other hair professionals that day and they told me my hair looked like a “very inexperienced balayage”, it was unblended and the bleach was over processed, he left it un styled and my “balayage” looked more like unblended stripes. Thankfully I was able to get it completely fixed by another salon. I was excited to get my hair done by Rob because of all of the great reviews I’ve heard, however my experience there was unfortunate and left me very upset. I personally called and explained my situation, which was not easy, and he made it sound like he handled this regularly. He yanked my hair out of the clips for foiling and it felt like more damage was done (and painful!). Not only that but he counldnt handle the simple style of “long layers”. My issue is that this is a barber shop, it is not meant for women’s hair. I personally called and explained my situation, which was not easy, and he made it sound like he handled this regularly. He yanked my hair out of the clips for foiling and it felt like more damage was done (and painful!). Not only that but he counldnt handle the simple style of “long layers”.
