Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityI called and asked for two basic pedicures and manicures for me and my boyfriend.I was told come in 40 mins. We did. We were both out in pedicure chairs and waited for another twenty minutes in cold water. A lady started on my boyfriend and after another twenty minutes, a man started on me. We were asked what type of pedicures we wanted. I got a spa pedicure and he got the slightly upgraded one with the callus treatment.Not one person asked him if he wanted an upgraded manicure. The owner just (her words) “assumed he did”. She literally whipped through my manicure in five minutes. I kid you not. Then when I complained about that, she said well your boyfriend got an upgraded manicure that’s why he got more time. I said he got the same as me, and she said no he got an upgraded one. My boyfriend had no clue, no one asked him.The owner sat there and argued with me about this. We get the same thing every time. We’ve been here twice now, the first time, they were just as sloppy and rushed but we decided to try one more time. This place is disgusting. It’s dirty. The staff is dirty. The manager look like she hadn’t showered in a week. I came in on a Friday to have my nails done as I’m new to the area, and by Tuesday I had to come in and have them touched up they were chipping all over. The manager argued with me telling me that it was done properly and then wanted to charge me to fix them. I will never come back here again it is very unsanitary and not very nice the people are not pleasant at all the only one that was pleasant was Krista the girl who helped me never coming back here again

Critical: CleanlinessThey didn’t use a liner in the soak tub, there were other peoples nails and all sorts of gunk in them that I noticed after they drained the tubs. There were nails and nail dust all over the seats, I had a nail stuck to my butt when I stood up. Everything was reused and not cleaned or disinfected. Even the things that should’ve been thrown away after one use were reused. I immediately soaked my feet in alcohol and antibacterial soap when I got home and I’m fully expecting some kind of fungal infection. The health department needs to drop by on this place- WOW. There were nails and nail dust all over the seats, I had a nail stuck to my butt when I stood up. Everything was reused and not cleaned or disinfected. Recently moved to Florida and hated trying to find a nail salon that would be able to do some of the fun nails I dig. Well this is it!! Jon did amazing! Don’t believe the positive reviews. The place is dirty, messy and the people are rude just as described by others . Complete desastre. You come in even with appointment and still the person runs between you and 3 other people, touching you right after touching them . I have never seen that . Looks like an assembly line, the final product is disgustingly messy . I won’t be back .

I always leave feeling like they don’t care if I come back. I have been here four or five times and my nails usually look ok except one time the polish was too thick and popped off my fingers so I went back 2 days later to have them fixed. I was there yesterday and two ladies complained about their services. One lady didn’t like her manicure because it was done by the owners 14 year old daughter which is who did my nails when I had to go back 2 days later. The other lady complained that she didn’t have enough time to wait because they were short staffed so I let her go before me. The lady said the same thing happened last time she was there and that she would not go back. Anyway the lady thanked me for letting her go first but the owner never said a word. Like I said I get the feeling that they don’t care if I come back. I noticed that the Cali nails on Manatee Avenue has higher ratings and many positive comments so I think I will try them next time I go.
