Critical: Professionalism, ValueThe actual nails are good, I like them a lot. Disappointed in the upcharges they don’t tell you about. Price for an acrylic fill online was $17. Price was posted inside for $22 instead. Okay no big deal. I pick out a regular polish and she starts. Another worker takes my polish and swaps it for another one without saying. I already had almond shaped nails and I kept them almond this time. In the end when they charged me $37 I asked why instead of $22. The owner said the gel polish (that I did not ask for and was not told about) was extra. I said I didn’t pick gel and the owner told me it was better and wouldn’t chip. Then he said that changing the shape of my nail to almond was also extra. I told him they were already almond. He just said oh okay, $37. I obviously wasn’t getting my point across. It’s $40 for a full new set, I’m not paying $37 for a fill. Ridiculous. Sucks because the nails are good and I’d like to come back. This is not the first time this has happened to me. I asked for a simple design, and even had the picture as a reference, and as you can see, I was not anywhere near pleased with the results. Beforehand, when my nails were being prepped, I had my old acrylics ripped off without any acetone soak. It was beyond painful, as well as the filling. I had tears streaming down my face. I feel badly for anyone who has spent their time and money here. This is what $72 gets you.
