I went in for a single process hair color asked for medium ASH brown, which is close to my natural color (I hate red tones in my hair). The first picture is what I got first. VERY dark, not ash… and you can see red tones in the light. I look like Morticia. Second pic was the next day after they “fixed” it, (and after I showed a reference pic of a girl with ash brown hair) and now I have two different tones of hair colors. Still not a even close to a medium ash brown. Still reddish on top and now black/blueish on bottom. This is the worst my hair has ever looked.

Critical: Professionalism, QualitySeveral weeks ago I booked an appointment to get my hair and extensions curled for my engagement party. The receptionist was very friendly and assured me that she would book me with a great stylist since it was a special and important occasion. I get to the appointment and they only had me in for a 1/2 hour blow out. They had no time to do my hair. The stylist ended up taking another client over me and left me waiting. Then a shampoo girl started blow drying my hair and stopped without finishing it. I was left with half dried hair. I was in tears and nobody cared. I approached the receptionist crying and her response was don’t cry. Clearly nobody cares about their clients at cactus salon. It was literally the worst experience ever. I walked out crying and had to do my hair on my own. Would never recommend anyone coming to this salon. They should be ashamed of themselves. No apology was even offered to me. Several weeks ago I booked an appointment to get my hair and extensions curled for my engagement party. The receptionist was very friendly and assured me that she would book me with a great stylist since it was a special and important occasion. Now I have part of my bang significantly shorter than the rest. I was over charger for this service and now have my hair messed up. I had thick hair down past my chest, and the front half is frizzy wavy while the back half is kinda straight. I had cut my own bangs a while back and made them too thick, so I went in for them to be properly cut and for an overall trim to cut out dead ends. Christine was great from the moment I met her. She asked for what I had in mind and some suggestions that she had for me. I told her that I want to donate my hair later so I wanted it as long as possible, and she did a perfect job layering my hair! My hair is much lighter now and my bangs are finally evened out!! She finished by blow drying my hair beautifully! Would recommend going!

What an amazing job she did! I was a little nervous walking in based on the reviews and the super-posh vibe in the salon. I had read all the comments about unfriendly stylists and rude reception and I must say, I experienced none of this. Going with my two daughters, my youngest only 3, some of the reviews led me to believe this was going to be a rushed, rude and regretfully stressful experience. It was the exact opposite.

My first bayalage was with Jessica she did it gorgeous, I came back today for my bayalage because the first was almost gone, Blake spent almost 6 hrs working on my hair she bleach my hair put it a dark color, bleach it again put it a horrible yellow color, the third time she tried to fix it I was done, she damaged my hair, looks horrible and Iam planning to cut it really short, at the end I lost my hair that took me many years to grow, I waste my money and my time. I wanted to complain again but every time she tried to fix it get worse.
