Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI had an appointment with Elizabeth on February 17th which was scheduled for 2:30PM but I wasn’t even seated until 3:00PM. I sat patiently, as it was my first time at this salon and I wasn’t in a hurry. I didn’t think much of it at the time, and wouldn’t have thought much of it now, if I was happy with the service provided.During my appointment, Elizabeth was very personable, easy to talk to, and did a good job on my eyebrows- a service that I had not booked ahead of time and didn’t even know they offered. I showed her a photo of what I wanted and told her that I understood the picture I showed her was not of my hair and that I expected my hair wouldn’t come out exactly the same.At the end of my appointment the only styling done to my hair was diffusing of my curls because I had never done it and wanted Elizabeth to show me how it works.Once my hair fully dried, I realized that the purple color was not as dark as I had thought. Unfortunately, I do not have a photo because I did not like the final color and did not want to take a picture.I washed my hair on Thursday night for the first time after my appointment, using colored hair shampoo and cool water as instructed, and the color washed out as if it was a temporary dye. By Friday morning my hair looked like it had pink remnants of an old faded purple.I reached out to Elizabeth who told me that all she could was offer a touch up at no cost to me, but that touch up which would “just be putting a different color purple on what [I] already have”. I knew this route would not give me the look I had originally asked for and did not think it would make any difference to my current situation, considering the result of her first attempt at putting purple in my hair. I reached out to Cindy asking for help in this situation and she reiterated that I should come in for a touch up. I sent Elizabeth a text message yesterday politely requesting a refund of just half of what I paid (which was well into triple digits) because I am unhappy but understand that it is her job and she put time and effort into my appointment so I did not ask for a full refund. My color is always perfectly done and what i asked for. My cut and styles are very meticulously done..
