I went in for a manicure with my friend. My friend got gel which looked really good. Mine was just regular polish due to my job. It looks TERRIBLE. It got smudged by the lady doing my manicure at one point and she just painted it over so it was completely uneven. I am extremely disappointed.

I really want to love this place. Some of the people are really nice. But today I had a disappointing experience. When I walked in, I told the man who greeted me that I wanted a regular manicure and regular pedicure, not gel. I told my pedicure tech that again, but I must have failed to tell my manicure tech that. I assumed the man who greeted me would tell her. In the end, she ended up giving me a gel manicure. I should have realized right away that it was gel that she was putting on my nails, but it has been years since I’ve gotten a manicure so I thought the process for a regular polish manicure had changed. I asked when she was done if it was regular polish and she said no. The reaction I received made me feel silly for not even knowing. I said it looked nice, but I don’t like gel and said that I said I wanted a regular manicure when I walked in.

Beware of this nail salon and any nail salon that my message applies to. I will not return and hoping to find a nail salon that is culturally respectful to non-Asian clients (especially to people of color). I had a most unprofessional experience that you need to read. Please read this twice and share with your friends.

Critical: Quality, ValueI will NEVER go back to this nail salon. Within two days of getting a full set one nail broke. Now 8 days later out of 10 nails I’m at 4! They split on the sides then become loose & end up snapping. My nail tech rushed & didn’t even shape all of my nails the same either. Then got rude when I pointed it out. Do not recommend.

Appreciate them for being open during this crazy weather… BUT I have never felt less than satisfied about my nails before and now this experience has been my first ! They paired me with the most inexperienced nail tech of my life who couldn’t really understand what I was wanting done to my nails. She struggled with simply painting and it was to the point where the man who’s also a nail tech had to tell her about holding a steady hand… I meannn wth I feel bad for even paying what the cost of the “service” was.

I got my wedding nails done here, and I couldn’t have been happier. I showed a picture of what I wanted, with a few minor changes, and they made it happen, frequently checking with me to make sure they were looking how I envisioned. Picture taken a week after I got them done and they still look fabulous! I’ve gotten so many compliments. Will definitely go back!

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityI always have a high quality experience every time I’ve went for the past decade or so! Their nail techs are very talented when it comes to their work and designs!!

I’m not from the Mishawaka area, I travel 25 minutes to and from to get to this nail shop. I just so happen to be shopping one day in Mishawaka and came across this nail salon. My nails were looking tired and I was tired of the nail salons in my area that do lousy work, not up-to-date on style, and not willing to learn or listen to me as a client of what I want. So I go into this place C&K Nails, I immediately was addressed by a male, I told him what I wanted (I just got my nails done a week ago) and he turned my nails around hunni they looked beautiful, so I said I found my new nail salon. I’ve been back and a young lady has done my nails twice and she did a good job as well, I like her a lot, she even took pictures of my nails to put up on their website. I’m very “girly” I should be living in LA. I know all the trends and I stay up on them. So I’m forever with the new new! I want cute nails, with popping colors and rhinestones, not nails that match my clothes or are subtle (but to each they own) I want nails that stand out! I get tons of compliments This place rocks

I went in with acrylic nails with shellac that had grown more than half way out. I had specifically asked them to remove the acrylic and replace it with shellac when I walked in. When I sat down, the women used alcohol (not acetone) to remove only the gel polish. She started buffing my nails and I had mentioned to her again I wanted her to remove the acrylic. She got up and sent a different women over. She asked me to repeat what I wanted. She then cut my nails down and proceeded to try and remove my acrylic(literally trying to pry them off my nail) only to tell me my nails were now too short to remove it. She used their tool to make the buff nail the acrylic and put shellac over the acrylic and sent me on my way. Within THREE days of getting them done, my nails were chipping. Mind you, I am a dedicated nail salon goer. I can go 2 to 3 WEEKS with shellac before they need to be redone. First and LAST time going here. I could not be anymore disappointed. When I called and asked them to fix, they told me I would have to pay $4 per nail.
