Critical: QualityHonestly, the more I look at the haircut provided by Byrd’s Lounge, the more disappointed I become. I asked for a specific haircut, and instead, what I received seems more like a freestyle attempt at what was asked for. I sent very clear pictures ahead of time to ensure that the barber knew what I wanted done. However, in both the facial trimming and haircut, the barber did not perform satisfactorily. I have a very important business meeting (which was conveyed to the barber) coming up today, and I really am extraordinarily uncomfortable with the style of haircut that I received. The ambiance of the Lounge was great, and the barber did his best to make conversation. Honestly, the more I look at the haircut provided by Byrd’s Lounge, the more disappointed I become. I asked for a specific haircut, and instead, what I received seems more like a freestyle attempt at what was asked for. I sent very clear pictures ahead of time to ensure that the barber knew what I wanted done. However, in both the facial trimming and haircut, the barber did not perform satisfactorily. Critical: ProfessionalismI had a terrible experience with Joshua. He does not have much patience with kids as other reviews claim. He had attitude with me. I explained ahead of time that my sons hair will be difficult. He came across as very condescending. I try to support local black businesses. However, this will be last time I go here. Do not recommend parents bring their child here. I used the booksy app to schedule appointment. He said that I was a no show so that I do not leave review. I had a terrible experience with Joshua. He does not have much patience with kids as other reviews claim. He had attitude with me. I explained ahead of time that my sons hair will be difficult. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueWe always go with Sebastian, he is great with kids, extremely calm, and knowledgeable. The lounge is always clean, plays different type of music when kids are around, also stocked with water and juice for kids- not to mention it has toys for them to pass time. Service: Haircut
