Good haircut, although the lady cutting my hair made a rude remark about my color of my skin. When showing her a picture of the type of cut I would like she said “ it won’t turn out like that because the guy in the picture is lightskin” and I am of a darker skin tone. The color of someone’s skin does not dictate that, it was just the desired style. A very uncalled for comment that did not need to be said. The lady was on the right side of the barbershop.

Horrible, horrible, horrible. Completely uneven hair. Told her I wanted just a little bit off the top and a mid to high fade. Did a really high fade, cut into my comb over and completely ruined it. She kept cutting into my comb over and didn’t do the same on the other side. So I had 3 inch hair on my right side and half inch hair on my left. Told her to even it out and she said “don’t you want comb over?” I told her that’s exactly right! But I can’t do it anymore! So even it out. She still didn’t but I was so mad I left after paying. NEVER go here if you want to style your hair. Go here if you’re ready to get a BMT style haircut ♂️

I do not recommend this barber shop if your child has their heart set on a particular style…..I wanted to take my son to a shop in Puyallup where we live but he wanted to get his hair cut “where daddy does”, so I called ahead and asked about particular haircut/style and they told me a military cut is $9.90 but for this style it would be close to $19 (more than a regular shop would charge for this cut for my young son)….that being said, we made the journey to Mchord BX barber shop and waited for about 45 minutes, in which the stylist tried skipping us (and no, their were no active duty uniforms at the time waiting), even though I showed her the number/ticket. In any case, I tried showing the stylist a pic of my sons haircut he wanted, and she Barely glanced at it. Then, when she called me over to look at his hair, I was surprised to see the finished style being literally with a type of devil horn looking mess…I fixed it and showed her the exact portion of his hair that I wanted cut shorter (which she would have known if she had looked at the picture) and I also tried explaining it to her…..this happened twice; before I finally again showed her by holding the exact portion of hair and showing her the length we wanted; she than decided to do a completely different haircut and style (without consulting me or my child), and when I went back over to her, she told me that the style wouldn’t work, and that it needed to be longer the way she originally had it; (mind you, he’s gotten this exact cut and style we went in for about a dozen times with zero issues elsewhere). Regardless, she should have consulted us before doing whatever haircut she decided to do because it’s not at all what we wanted! My son waited for almost 3 months, to grow the right length for this cut/style; and it was also very important to him to have his hair done where daddy gets it done. i didn’t pay for the increased fee, because his haircut was now a military haircut; so $9.90 for a cut that we didn’t ask for.

I get asked what kind of haircut I want and I say a medium fade with a little off the top and dont touch the bangs because I’ve been growing them for 2 months. The barber then trys to cut my bangs and then when I stop her she says oh you want them longer and I say yes but in the end my bangs still get shaved off. Definitely not going to this one again
