This is the best barbershop I’ve ever experienced. Not a fancy place so if you are looking for that then you should look elsewhere. A great place to hang out and enjoy the banter. Bob is amazing. A third-generation barber in Kennett Square. He knows the history and the people better than anyone else. Burton’s Barber Shop is just amazing! This is a legit old school barber shop in the heart of downtown Kennett Square. The shop has been there for over 100 years. Everyone that works there is so friendly and welcoming. They gave my 5 yo the best haircut he’s ever had. They are great with kids and make sure they don’t rush through the haircut. The place opens really early which is convenient for people that work. They close earlier than other places though so plan accordingly. They are also cash only.

A piece of history in Kennett Square! I very been going her since I was born. Great atmosphere. It’s like walking back in time. The walls are covered with historical sports photos, some signed by sports greats. It’s a real, old fashioned barber shop. Mr. Burton still works there cutting hair himself and has others as well. Reasonable prices competitive with today’s market.

Traditional barbershop with skilled operators. Opens mad early so you can spiffy up before work. Lots of character as the decor is baseball memorabilia centered. Proprietor Bob is a third generation barber, baseball enthusiast, community minded guy who participates in charity events. Customers chat with him and you, a total stranger. A great experience all around.

Google maps stated the business was open so I went there. When I arrived I noticed the sign on the door stated it opens at 9am on Sundays. Ok. Simple mistake. It’s now 9:14 am and they still aren’t open. I understand the hours being incorrect on Google maps. I don’t understand a business being unable to correctly post the hours of operation on there own own storefront. Guess I have to go elsewhere.

I was told I was next. Waited 30 minutes for him to finish the guy ahead of me. Some guy he knows walks in and he takes him ahead of me. When I said I thought I was next, he said I was but this guy is in a rush. No apology. Walked out never getting my hair cut.
