Burning Beard Barbershop

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueMade an appointment for Friday afternoon 11/6/2020. I was less than 10 minutes late because I was pulled over and got a ticket right down the road from his shop (explained this). I understand this is not the barbers fault, but my own. I received automated text saying I was a no call no show. But because I really needed a hair cut and like this barber, I rescheduled my appointment for the next day at 4pm 11/7/2020. I show up to my appointment almost 20 minutes early as I typically always do. We walk inside together and I wait while he gets everything ready. He then turns around to me and says he has me down for 2 no call no shows. That it will be $15 per (so $30 total)I said I only ever have missed the one. He said it is $15 for each service I scheduled. This is absolutely insane. If I went ahead with this exchange it would have cost me almost $70 for a haircut not including a tip. I told him that I am more then willing to pay a $15 penalty because I get your time is valuable, but I can’t and won’t pay another $15 on top of that, because the situation was completely out of my hands and I was less than 10 minutes late. Now I’m heading somewhere else to get a haircut, and he is sitting there with another time slot missing. I APOLOGIZED PROFUSELY!
