UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF AND DR. I got to my appt in Dover to see Dr. Nicole Bright, DO I was greeted by the front desk however, I filled out my paperwork online they said they do not have it. The white girl with blue eyes and 10lbs of makeup kept talking over me. Let me give you some advice from someone who has been in health care longer than you and how to treat a patient with empathy.

I had been suffering with deep splits and peeling on the tips of my fingers for years. I visited Burke, was asked why I hadn’t put moisturizer on I told him I wanted him to see what I was dealing with. He told me to stop picking my fingers gave me an RX for a steroid, gave me samples of OTC moisturizer. His attitude was horrible and uncaring. A year later with the issue now covering the palms of my hands I was talking to a tele-nurse and mentioned my issue. Without even seeing my hands she recommended I see an arthritis Dr. One visit and diagnoses of Psoriasis. Now with light therapy I have finally found relief. No thanks to the “Dermatologist” that treats Psoriasis…

I had to wait 40 mins to be seen. I was on time to my appointment and filled out the paperwork. The nurses took everyone back that arrived after me. 40 minutes later, I was called back and the nurses were nice. The nurses practically did everything except diagnose. The dermatologist was in and out. I was really upset I had to wait so long for such a short interaction. Also had a last minute biopsy here that has left a terrible scar. I’ve received biopsies before and this is the worst scar months later. I do not foresee it healing to a presentable appearance ever.

I’ve been a patient for many years and used to love the office, but sadly have been looking around for someone new. Love Dr. Burke and his bedside manner, however the Middletown office has been going downhill for about a year or two. I repeatedly have to check back for prescription authorization and have had multiple delays in getting my prescriptions because their office didn’t follow through on something. Some in the office are nice and professional, others are very rude, and lack medical demeanor.

After my appointment she made certain I knew exactly what she was talking about in terms of my care and any needed follow up.

Hate this place. First I went for a mole check. Waited 3 months for an appointment. Them I waited over an hour to see the PA. I did not get a through exam all they wanted to do was check my back. I was a lifeguard as a young adult and the majority of my sun damage is on my shoulders and chest, that wasn’t really checked very well. I also have eczema and was given a steroid that didn’t work very well. I was told to schedule a follow up about a few moles. The front office staff said that their books weren’t open that far out and I would need to call in 3 months. How can a doctors office that deals with curable cancer not be able to schedule appointment more than 3 months ahead. The headache of all of this isn’t worth it.
