My family and I can’t speak highly enough of Paul Nemec at Bulwark Barber. After a decade and a half of dreadlocks, the time had come for a new do. He honored the history, valued the stories, respected the legacy, and protected the plethora of emotions that came with cutting them. One by one, he took his time, quietly letting the process unfold. Then after the 3-foot locks were finally all removed he expertly went to work inspired by the photo we had provided him. To protect the nostalgia of the moment we had rented the entire shop in order to have privacy and we also had our photographer/friend there to capture the experience. Through it all Paul was calm under the pressure and rose up to the challenge. He was super thankful and honored for the opportunity to be a part of it. Paul comes highly recommended by numerous community members, why else would I have chosen him. Your hair is in good hands with him and I’m elated to say this is easily the best haircut I’ve had in the past 15+ years!
