Had a really nice experience today on my first visit! Cali was awesome and helped fill me in on the different products! Place smelled wonderful! Great prices and a variety to choose from! Got a chance to test out the fruity loopy bath bomb after I bought it and was not disappointed! Left my skin feeling smooth and my bath water smelling like cereal! Also loved that you could try the different hand soaps in their bathroom which is a great selling point! Can’t wait to come back for a bath bomb event and watch you make soaps! Highly recommend this place!

My wife and I wanted to create something fun for the goody bag we were giving our guest at our wedding and a few people recommended Buff City Soap in New Bern. After walking around the store smelling EVERYTHING we talked with Stephanie and she gave us the idea to create a custom soap to put in the bag. My wife was sold and jumped in feet first. Stephanie and her crew helped us with everything from the size of the soap to the name of our custom soap. The fragrance that we picked was one created in house by one of the staffers and it smells delicious. The colors we picked came out perfect together matching our dia de los Muertos wedding theme and that little bit of sparkle Stephanie suggested just took it over the top. We had the best experience creating our “something fun” and everyone at the wedding loved the soap. When you go into a store you’ve never been in, it’s the little things that matter and the time Stephanie and her staff took to sit with us and create mattered not only to us but them as well all the way down to the “congratulations” sticker that was put on our box of soap. Thank you Stephanie and the staff of Buff City soap we will definitely be back again.

Very expensive. Small sized pump hand soap. I didn’t like the prices being listed on a wallboard, I prefer price stickers on the item or clearly marked on a shelf. Honestly, the soap bars didn’t smell that appealing either. Sorry..I wish I could rate it better.

Helpful, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, big selection, nice packaging. Despite their huge scent selection they didn’t have my favorite: gardenia. I also like lily, honeysuckle, and jasmine but I don’t remember seeing those either. I bought 6 bars of soap to try though. The amount of scent was minimal to barely noticable. I have bought many brands of scented, handmade soaps and these were the biggest disappointment.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I love the samples, too. Ask about their $5 Mystery Box. My kids and I walked in, and there was a little party going on; I think the children were customizing their own bath bombs or something like that. There are things here for everyone, including pups! I can’t wait to go back. Everyone was very kind and patient. Go on Tuesdays for their 4 for $20 sale. 🙂
