We loved our experience at the last traditional bathhouse! We were warned ahead of time that it would be an 80 minute wait but there was magazines I could read while I sat. The treatments were nice and relaxing. It does seem like they are understaffed and some of the ladies were busting it to get it all done. I would recommend going to the museum first in the national park visitor center so you can know a little more about the experience.

Buckstaff Baths was an amazing 2.5 hours spent..must be an annual or maybe twice a year event! We feel revitalized and ready for the next adventure!! (Couldn’t get more pictures because no phones for the time..so worth it)

This is the last traditional old-fashioned bath house that is fully operational. We didn’t really know what to expect when we ordered our tickets for the mineral bath. It was very relaxing. I would recommend bringing a robe. We also got the paraffin hand wax which felt amazing.

Went there during our visit to hot springs. No trip to hot springs is complete without taking a bath in one of the functioning bath houses. Staff is polite and helpful. Please do arrive early if you want to avoid and waits for massages

I gave 5 stars because of the staff. I didn’t actually receive any treatments so I can’t exactly review that but I definitely hope to in the future. I walked in off of the street with my baby girl. The staff was kind and immediately informed me of the 1 hour wait AFTER the bath treatment for massage. This would have easily been several hours and there’s no way my baby would have lasted through all of that without a complete fit! The staff was so amazing and understanding that they gave me the number for a spa down the road that could get me in and out quicker. I went to the recommended place and had the best massage I have ever had in my life! I will definitely give Buckstaff a try in the future just for their kindness and compassion for my situation. ❤️

I love having a day spa experience here. They always make you feel welcome. I am a pretty modest person and have never felt exposed here. They work at maintaining the dignity of their clients throughout the spa experience. Friday, I left my wedding ring in the locker hanging on the hook & didn’t think about it until I took a shower at home in southern Louisiana that same night. I jumped up at 8am and called them. They found it & are mailing it. I’m so relieved.

I called this place over 40 times to try and get an application. I sent them a message on their web site and got a response 3 days later. We finally just showed up and asked for an appointment at the front door. We did this about 10 years ago and had a great time. It is totally different now, while each at attendant only had 1 or two people to pamper before, now each one has several at a time. My wife actually thought they forgot about her a couple of times. In my opinion they should close until they can get things fixed. Only 2 stars because the building is absolutely gorgeous and the history is awesome.

The Buckstaff Bathhouse has excellent customer service unlike Quapaw where the girl at the front desk pretty much ignored us with the “I don’t know’s” The staff was great and helpful. We enjoyed the bath house experience here. Well run establishment I highly recommend this place.

Been there 15 years ago. It was a great experience. This trip was the exact opposite. Stood in a sheet for 20 minutes. Then a girl came in and was surprised that I was there. In the bath I told her I wanted the water hot. She still added cold water! So by the time I should have been pulled out the water was uncomfortably cold. Sat down in the sitz tub and she tells me to fill my own tub. I was pretty upset at the treatment I was getting. Sara puts me in the steam box very haphazardly. I sat there watching her take better care with others in there. I kicked the door open she wasn’t there to help. Got myself out of the box and had enough. I was upset to tears, the whole experience was aweful. I never got my loofah treatment. She blamed me for that. I was refunded for only the massage I didn’t get. Not the hand waxing or anything I missed. Not even for the loofah that was never used. I will never go back, and my telling friends and family to get a bath there. I imagine the Buckstaff won’t stay open long operating as they do. I left wet and in panic attack mode. Worst part of my trip to Hot Springs.
