I was a little early for my appointment and when I arrive my stylist Joseph asked if he could go grab something to eat really fast, which I obviously had no problem with. While Joseph grabbed a snack his coworker washed my hair (amazingly! It’s my favorite part!) I told her about my recent hair loss due to using LUS products and she put a treatment on for 15 min and pre suggested some products. When the time was up Joseph came back and rinsed/washed my hair and already kinda knew what was going on and what I was looking for, which honestly I appreciated the communication between the 2, bc I really didn’t want to repeat the whole story again. We decided a game plan for my hair and cut and styled it with the recommended products that I also appreciated, so I would know how they already looked in my hair before purchasing.

Joseph is a visionary stylist! Went in showing him pics of what I wanted and he was able to tailor it specifically to my face and hair type. His attention to detail and experience makes him a Master Stylist. If you’re in the Arlington-Tysons-Reston Area he’s worth the drive! Absolutely the best hair stylist I’ve ever had in northern Virginia!!

3 stars for pricing; 5 stars for Regina. I noted the cost for highlights online but services are a la carte at this salon, so it ended up being $40 more when I arrived. I appreciated Regina telling me what the total cost would be before beginning so I could decide. I had partial highlights service and she did a great job. Very professional and just what I was looking to have done. The pricing confusion online could use improvement but I recommend Regina for her skill and professionalism!

Will NOT be going back to Bubbles. I had my haircut this past weekend and it’s TERRIBLE. I came in with very long hair and asked for a 2 inch trim and even showed a picture of what I wanted. The stylist barely looked at the picture, said “ok”, and then proceeded to chop off 5 INCHES and gave me horrible chunky layers. Then I was charged $50 (not $38 as advertised) for a haircut I hate. It will take months for my hair to even grow close to the length I asked for.

I was in Virginia for a holiday, and I need a haircut badly. Bubbles Salon was able to accommodate me when I called for an appointment on the day itself. My hairstylist took her time to analyze my hair and consider my requests. The price for a haircut and blow dry is pretty reasonable. I will definitely come back here again.

I usually get my haircut done in Bubbles at Herndon location, but with that place being shut down I decided to give the Reston location a try. I was here for a haircut and seeing the positive reviews for Joseph I booked an appointment with him. I waited for a bit as he had a headache and went to get something to eat (totally fine) I showed him a picture and explained I wanted a layered haircut with the shortest layer starting at the chin level. He looked very distracted all time during the appointment attending people who checked in, looking at how other stylists are handling customers, etc. He made a comment saying dealing with the management part of the salon is not fun but I have to do it. All my appointment time wasted on this and he still kept checking on others and hardly did what I asked for. I made him cut a little shorter but still not even close to what I wanted. He couldn’t style/blow dry my hair as he ran out of time and told me Wish he could style it if he had time!! Come on seriously.. I don’t understand why would a stylist be responsible for front desk tasks.. He asked me to come back next week if I don’t like the cut after I style it.. I was not happy about the process in the first place and why would I ever go back to this place!! Very very unprofessional.. and I still had to pay the haircut charges including blow dry and a tip (which I highly regret now)
