I recently had my hair done at this shop, this past Saturday. Before booking the appointment, my Mom showed her the picture of the style and size I wanted. She agreed that she could do Passion Twists. When Saturday came, (May 28th) I arrived early for my 10:30AM appointment, but Ayesha was not there. She didn’t arrive until 11:12AM. Then I showed her the same picture again, and confirmed with her that she could do Passion Twists and that size, before starting. She finishes my hair and does them twice the size I requested. When I asked her why she didn’t do them the size we agreed upon, she said that she thought it would look funny smaller. The style I received is pretty, but not at all what I asked for..& what was agreed upon. Once she finished styling, she didn’t seal them or anything. I’m not returning to this shop, and not even the owner held her responsible for her tardiness.

The owner is amazing. Very efficient and professional. I keep getting stopped by Strangers whenever I get my hair done wanting to know where i got it done. Bin has taken care of my daughters hair for 6years now…since she was 2. Natural hair care is a priority here! The braiders go through extensive screening. I recommend this shop.

I visited this shop on yesterday & boy do I wish I could turn back the hands of time. Though their work is beautiful(had 3 ladies working on my head at one point), my hair was braided extremely too tight. I mentioned this while getting my hair braided & the lady said, “oh, I didn’t know that you don’t like tight braids…at the end I’ll put a hot rag on it to reduce swelling & just take some Tylenol when you get home.” I thought that maybe she wouldn’t braid so tightly thereon out, but I was wrong. She ignored what I said and continued to braid the same. Now here I am today, taking down my braids that were just installed yesterday. I will NEVER visit this salon again. Also, it took over 7 hours for me to get box braids that hit right at my lower back…which was not what I asked for. They just don’t listen at this shop PERIOD. So, if you’re looking for a shop that can do exactly what you want… in a timely manner w/o being in a world of pain the next day, DON’T VISIT THIS SHOP!

Needs to be more consistent and do a better job on the customers hair. My goodness braids haven’t been in for a week and they look a mess. Focus less on the $Dollar and more on your clients. Not to mention I’ve been going to them for over 8years.

Bin and the ladies of BNT are awesome! I’ve had braids and twist done in a few salons and I can honestly say I felt at home. I am a tough one to satisfy but I have NO complaints. My hair took 9 hrs but my hair is long (mid way between neck and bra strap) and my microbraids are braided past my hair. Upon meeting Bin in the shop, she gave me an appt for the following week to ensure she had staff (star #1) she called two days prior to confirm the appointment and confirm hair color (star #2) on appt day I arrived 10 min early, Bin was waiting and immediately started (star #3). My hair turned out geat, Bin and Anita kept me laughing the entire time. They were so friendly and worked to ensure that I was comfortable bc I’m very tender headed (star #4). I think I’ve finally found my go to braid shop! (Star #5)

Braider lady assaulted me because I was taking too long to pull a picture up on my phone. I will never patronize this shop ever again. For her to damage my pack of hair I purchased, pull and cut my hair because she’s inpatient is totally unacceptable. I will be pressing charging once the police report is back.
