Dr. Cohen and her assistant were personable, professional, on time and as always, Dr. Cohen was caring and thorough. I can’t say enough about her level of care and expertise. The office staff was very nice as well. I have 2 complaints and both are electronic. I received no less than 4 reminders about my appointment. Probably more. It was extremely annoying. One confirmation message is plenty. The other is in the months leading up to my appointment, I kept getting messages that an earlier appointment was available and if I acted quickly, I could get it. I didn’t ask to be put on this list and I don’t care to play in the “Hunger games” to get an appointment. If I want an earlier appointment, I expect to call the office, get put on a list, then get called like a human being to tell me if one is available. In this case, there was no urgency and I found the texts quite irritating. I know the doctors have nothing to do with this so whoever is in charge of it might want to pay attention. Please stop. As far as the in person staff goes, all were terrific, electronically, not so much.

I have been a Patient of Dr. Ryan’s for over 30 years. He is the best! He is Professional, caring and easy to talk to. I have had my 3 children come to him when they were dealing with serious acne problems in their teens. My husband also has his annual visits with Dr. Ryan. I highly recommend him!

Using a different name to be anonymous. I came in for a routine skin check and felt extremely dismissed by Dr. Cohen and her assistant. Her assistant wasn’t rude, but had a very poor bedside manner, as if she was talking to a computer instead of a person. She seemed extremely stressed—her entire legs were shaking and tapping uncontrollably the whole visit. Dr. Cohen was there for all of 5 minutes (would have been less if I hadn’t insisted on being checked more thoroughly) and was downright rude. I actually almost laughed at one point because it was so comically rude. I almost could not get a word in edgewise before she would dismiss whatever I was saying or asking. It was like she had a million other patients to get to and she couldn’t believe I was paying her hundreds of dollars to be a patient of more than 5 minutes. I was afraid to ask questions or bring up things I’d noticed with my skin because she would immediately retort with a sarcastic question or dismissive remark. I genuinely feel that google would be a better choice than this doctor. Perhaps she was having a bad day. Unfortunately, there is simply no excuse for a doctor to act like a petulant child, and fortunately I never have experiences like this with my other doctors. I would point out something to her on my skin and ask about it and she would act like there was nothing there. I was perfectly calm, quiet, and polite, and she came in the room clearly already assuming I was a paranoid hypochondriac. I left feeling gaslighted and unheard; overall, it was one of the worst, most bizarre experiences I’ve had with a doctor. Side note: for some reason they bother to have pink and blue gowns for women and men. ??? What purpose does that serve? And what about patients who don’t fit within that binary? I will say that the waitstaff was perfectly nice and competent. It was only the doctor who sucked. Unless you have an active melanoma growing wildly out of control, this doctor will not help you with anything, so SAVE YOUR MONEY.

On time MD appointment staff very friendly and helpful. Office clean and welcoming. Great fill up. Recommend BMS&CI for all of your skin care needs. Please be safe and definitely cover up in the sun even on a cloudy day UV Rays can effect your skin. See a Dermatologist at least once a year

Very good point experience. I had a spot in my leg, I let go way too long. It was basil cell and it was pretty deep. Had the Moh’s procedure and they were equally professional and personal. They made me feel calm, comfortable and confident in their expertise. Thank you to both doctors who helped remove the skin cancer and then patch me back up!!

Dr. Kara Capriotti was superb, she has such a gentle touch! It was my second time there today and everyone involved in my care was great, kind and professional. The first time I met with Dr Hsu and she was also wonderful! The physical space is also really decorated nicely, aesthetically pleasing, and comfortable.
