Critical: QualityI moved to Pittsburgh PA 2 years ago and was getting my haircuts in Ross township at a place near our first rental. We have moved and now reside near Tarentum PA and a 40 minute drive seemed foolish. My wife found Tarentum Classic cuts and read the reviews which are excellent and I wanted to save the time. I went on Election day and really liked the shop, it is like going back in time, the decor the old music, it reminded me of barber shops in NYC when i was a kid in the 70’s.. The barber was very friendly an elderly man with a kind face. My issues started with the hair cut, almost exclusively done with clippers with my back to the mirror. I could feel and see the hair falling off, more than usual but had not real idea of what had transpired. It was a devastatingly bad, uneven in the front and the back for some reason he went straight across my neck, the gradual tapering was gone, a long white stripe appeared where hair had been. I had requested a trim, this was a shearing. I agonized over whether to write this review, even after this, I like the shop, it has been in business since 1948 and the old barber was very earnest and a very nice man. I moved to Pittsburgh PA 2 years ago and was getting my haircuts in Ross township at a place near our first rental. We have moved and now reside near Tarentum PA and a 40 minute drive seemed foolish.
