If I could give 0 stars, I would. As a bridesmaid, this was the worst makeup service I’ve ever experienced. My friend had a total of six people needing makeup done including her own wedding makeup and hair. We only got sent ONE makeup artist, ONE! This put us two hours behind schedule on my friend’s special day. Because of this, the videographer/photographer and other vendors/services had to be asked to stay an extra hour to accommodate for time lost. So not only did this bridal beauty agency cost us time but money as well. When my friend, the bride, spoke to the owner who was the person styling her hair, she was very unapologetic about the terrible service she called a business. Personally, my makeup service experience was rushed and done in less than 15 minutes because we were running late since we were only sent one mua for six people. For $100, I got a “soft glam” look however there wasn’t anything glam about it. I had no eyeshadow put on, my lip color was dull and I basically looked the same with some fake eyelashes that were just plopped on my eyelids and were literally hanging on by the sides. Fake eyelashes are supposed to make your eyes pop, not look wonky, and if a mua doesn’t know how to put on fake eyelashes on a client that’s not a makeup artist. I even compared pictures from the wedding to pictures I have of doing my own makeup and the difference says a lot. For $100, I didn’t get the “elevate beauty experience” but I did get a stye! Which was very painful and lasted for 5 days. If you’re a bridesmaid, please opt out on hair/makeup services and do your own hair/makeup and save money. If you’re a bride, please look somewhere else for the best beauty experience for your wedding day. And if you’re anyone thinking about receiving any services from The Brushed Agency, save your money, run the other way and prevent yourself from waking up with a stye the next day.
