Do not let ROSIE do your extensions. She has no clue what she is doing and they all fall out within a week. She suggested tape ins on my baby fine hair and it ripped half my hair from the roots. She did tie ins and they even fall from your scalp and hang like dread locks. The scheduling is very unprofessional because ROSIE books all here friends first on her phone without telling the front desk. She will then text you and say she booked your time the front desk booked you. BIG SCAM NO TALENT AND RUDE. That’s ROSIE. Everyone else seems nice. She sells you the hair for 400$ but she can’t seen to grasp how to apply it. BAD NEWS/ WASTE OF MONEY

I recently moved to Wilmington and was looking for a new salon. One of my co-workers recommended Brush and I booked an appt. My hair is currently white/blond and I requested that my roots be darkened a bit with 2 lowlights to give it some depth. I wanted to keep the blond at the ends. I showed my stylist, Rosie, several pictures and we were on our way. Once rinsed, she asked what tone I wanted for the blond and I advised I liked the tone I had, pretty neutral and definitely not ashy or too cool. Once we got back to the chair, she dried and styled my hair. I never look until the end for the final reveal, and all I could say is OH?! Not only were my darker roots super ashy, the rest of my hair was the same color. ALL the blond was gone!! When I told her my concerns that this was not what we had discussed, or looked remotely like any of the pics I had shown her, she started making excuses. I was clearly unhappy, and when the person at the front desk asked how things were, I told her and she didn’t take any action either. They both told me to have a good day. So my 2 star review is partly for an undesired result of hair color, but mostly for the fact that they didn’t offer to fix it, address the issue, or do ANYTHING. Luckily, I have a cosmetology degree so I went home, lightened my ends back to where they were and toned it appropriately. I wish it would have looked like this when I left the salon, but more so, wished they would have been accountable for their actions! I won’t be back…

This salon is my favorite salon in Wilmington. The staff is super friendly and the place itself is super cute. Amber was my stylist, and she was phenomenal. She was very attentive and my favorite thing about her was she noticed imperfections in her own work before I did, and made sure to point them out to me and we figured out a schedule to fix the issues.
