When I moved to Thibodaux I was looking for a salon that could wash my hair twice a week. (lost both my hands 3yrs ago in an accident) I was referred by my stylist to try Brush in Thibodaux due to their experience in wash, style and hair extensions. I signed up for the membership and little did we know the lack of experience/training the salon owner/employees had with hair extensions. Long story short, my regular stylist installed extensions on May 27, 2022 and by/on June 10, 2022 which had only made my 3rd visit to Brush within that timeframe …my extensions were completely destroyed and had to be taken out!! Due to one stylist being very rough when washing, brushing and styling, which caused the ends of the weft that are anchored down to your natural hair to come undone and “one” of the owners Sara tried to fix them by cutting my extensions and glueing the ends to her knowledge of having training on “one” particular type/brand of hair extensions and to my knowledge to find out once her damage was done $2500.00’s later (that she refuses to take any responsibility for) that the extensions brand/type that my stylist had installed …are “handtied extensions” that are not to be cut or they will start to unravel off the weft, leaving you shedding til hair is gone!! Which is exactly what happened to me within two days of leaving Brush on Friday June 10th, couldn’t get to my regular stylist til Monday … dealing with that over the weekend not knowing exactly wth was happening… was very devastating!! Sara and the other owner which is her “Dad” are fully aware of the damages done by Sara and refuse to take any responsibility or compensating me for my loss!! Also, did not refund me membership cost of $300’s and didn’t even have the respect, courtesy in apologizing for the grief and money this has caused me… it’s DISGUSTING what they’ve done!!
