Paid $270 for crooked parts and raggedy ends! They were supposed to be waist length but they left most of the ends loose! And these parts look like they were done by a 10 year old. One girl did the front which are fine but 2 other women did the back and clearly didn’t know what they were doing. They wouldn’t give me a mirror to see the back so I knew something was up. So I came home and had my husband take pics and sure enough. They should be ashamed! Never going back and I suggest no one else goes either.

I went in last minute today to get my daughter’s hair braided. Menvelle did a great job. My daughter who is 4 didn’t cry at all. Her cornrows were super neat! I will definitely be back!!! Braids

Went on a late Friday morning without an appointment. Jill, the owner, was very friendly and accomodating. I got small knotless braids that stop just below my behind, they were $330 (which was not a bargain AT ALL but I really wanted them done that day). It took 6 hours with one person doing about 70% and a second doing the other 30%. Maria did the bulk of the braids, she had a very gentle hand and she was FAST. The other lady was not as fast and she was a bit rough, but it worked out. I would definitely return, all of the ladies were friendly and Jill was professional.

They had great service & was on time. They allow you to buy hair there & very affordable. The shop is beautiful & clean. The ladies there are professional & fast I got small box braids took less than 5 hours. The shop is beautiful & clean. The ladies there are professional & fast I got small box braids took less than 5 hours. I want to first by saying that all those women in there are artist and are great at their craft. HOWEVER, I would not go back. Appointments means nothing to them it’s first come first serve so make sure you are there at 9:00 am. My biggest issue is that I repeatedly told my lady that I did not want my braids too tight especially around my edges and ended up with extremely tight braids where I had to take Tylenol afterwards. There is no pricing menu they come up with their own prices. I started out at $190 and ended up paying $238. Yes you will have 2 people working on you but it’s Houston you can find any African lady that can braid if not better for $120. If you’re in need of your hair braided then go but if you can find someone cheaper go with that person.

I got there at open; I was immediately warmly greeted and asked what service I needed. I told her I wanted knotless braids and also showed a picture. Got my price quote and everything was smooth sailing from there! I fully intended to spend at LEAST 7-8 hours there (bc of the length and small size). My hair was done in 5 hours (I had two stylists working on me). All of the ladies there were so nice. They work quickly and it was also a very painless experience. My head doesn’t hurt from pulling too tight and my braids look amazing! I LOVE my hair!!! They do a fantastic job with the quality of service but they will charge you double what you pay somewhere else. The shop is clean but the staff dress as if they are not in a professional setting. Also, the shop is not upscale. I feel as though if they charge those prices then I need to get the full experience of what I am paying for.
