Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueMy dermaplaning experience was poor. The owner wasn’t able to make the eyebrows shape consistent. When I raised this issue, she said my face isn’t symmetric. I asked her to fill in one side more. Due to this step, I was fit in around other incoming clients. A lot of time was wasted due to the inconsistent shape issue. She/the owner wasn’t pleasant and the room was more like an unfinished home than a clean, procedure room (wind coming through windows, unfinished trim work, etc). I wasn’t looking for a deal but someone to use their expertise. She seemed frustrated by having to do a great job. Needless to say, plenty of pain, blood during the experience. My dermaplaning experience was poor. The owner wasn’t able to make the eyebrows shape consistent. When I raised this issue, she said my face isn’t symmetric. I asked her to fill in one side more. Due to this step, I was fit in around other incoming clients. A lot of time was wasted due to the inconsistent shape issue. I had most horrible experience of my life at this place. Hasti is the owner of this business but she’s extremely unprofessional and rude. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME!!!!!!My eyebrows what a joke they look purple and green. She has no idea what she’s supposed to do with your brows.I asked her to fix and she want me to come back and pay her again $420. I cried all night looking at them. I wish never used her service

Critical: ProfessionalismI went for a job interview here last year to be a lash technician and a possible new permanent makeup artist. In DC, there are no requirements to be an esthetician to do lashes, but the owner insisted that you do need to be an esthetician (call the DC board of cosmetology…it’s not regulated). The owner proceeded to interview me and inquire where I was attending esthetician school at the time. This female went behind my back and called my school looking to share students with her business and never once mentioned me or my interview to the school. The school ended up notifying me of what she had done and read me the email she sent. The school knew it was me because before the interview, I told them I was applying here and looking for a head start in my new permanent makeup career as well as doing lashes there. I was truly hurt. As a beginner, I wanted to learn and work with someone fresh out of school for permanent makeup. This goes to show you how underhanded and backstabbing she can be.
