I decided to try eyelash extension for the first time and they were awful. Maybe this is just because I didn’t know what to expect, but they looked nothing like the pictures. There was a thick band of black glue so the extensions looked super fake and they were SO UNCOMFORTABLE! I gave it a half hour, but they literally impaired my vision (I tried driving and felt that it wasn’t safe for me to drive since I just saw this huge thick black band in my line of sight). So I went back in and asked them to remove them. I didn’t even ask for my money back, but I did hope they’d offer something since they were nothing like the ones in the pictures; they did not and didn’t seem to want to remove them, but they did. Hopefully others will be warned not to try this unless you want uncomfortable super fake looking lashes.

Brow Art 23 NORTH *Entry A* (Next to the Phonefix store) – Price for threading is not bad…The lady who did it though messed up my eyebrows. She took out more hairs out of my right eyebrow than my left and there is a small patch of hair missing on the right side. My left eyebrow is shorter now. She’s not really a friendly person either. I usually get my eyebrows done in Waukegan. Very friendly staff and they never mess up.. The only reason i felt the need to get it done here was the price and I was there anyway, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Critical: QualityWorkers are very rude. I went with my friend to get her waxing done and when we were barely walking in not even by the door yet the lady just yelled out we’re closed. it was still 7:30. I asked her why and she said she wasn’t taking anymore customers to go to another brow place. It was very rude she didn’t even have manners at all. Not only that but I went yesterday and while I was waiting for my mom I was sitting down and the lady just screamed out to get up because she’s going to clean and I was in her way. Workers are very rude. I went with my friend to get her waxing done and when we were barely walking in not even by the door yet the lady just yelled out we’re closed. it was still 7:30. Critical: ProfessionalismWe went on Friday night, the two people who were working are very rude. We were waiting for them to finish with the person we were waiting for when the worker approached and said that we had to leave because she was going to clean. we got up and stood at the door then he said ohh !! They are waiting for me to finish with her to which she answers yes. they can then sit down again and I answered no thank you first they said we had to leave and with that attitude that they give no one wants to return. I woke up to them already falling off ! I payed $25 for them just to last me a couple hours. The lady saw she messed up and instead of fixing them she simply said I could go get a free refill but never gave me a receipt for it or anything. I was here for eyebrow threading. The threading was good but the staff was extremely rude when I presented my punch card. The staff would not accept the card as they said they were a different business and it did not match their current card. I wish I could leave a 0 star review. They do not deserve a star at all! This is the 2nd time they have messed up my daughter’s eyebrows. She decided to give them a 2nd chance because the first time the elderly lady with glasses did a great job. The other snotty lady is the one who has no business doing eyebrows. My 17 yr old daughter came home crying because she does not want to go to school with her eyebrows looking the way they do. One eyebrow is much thinner than the other and also has a bald line through out unless she slicks it down. The snotty lady that did a horrible job did not even take responsibility for what she did. Instead she blamed my daughter and she still took her money!! When I went back to the store she refused to give my daughter her money back or give her a free waxing next time. Stay far away from this place because even if they gave my daughter a free wax she does not want them touching her eyebrows ever again. Also I had went in to talk to the lady about her work she just kept ignoring me and making excuses in front of the customers in the store and they were able to see what terrible customer service this place gave us. She kept treating us like we weren’t even there talking to her about it. As if we did not even exist. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible work and customer service. Be smart and go somewhere else please. We definitely will not be using their service and I would strongly advise you to do the same.
