There are three things I was always taught to look for when moving to a new town. A bar, a breakfast spot, and a barber. At the point of needing a haircut after moving, I had found my breakfast spot and bar but no barber. I called around to the higher rated spots on Google and got the typical salon type answer “can you come in on Saturday or next week?” Mind you this was a Wednesday… So, I passed on them and found out about Brooklyn Barbershop. What a joke, the place looks like a dump on the inside, there were three barbers when i walked in. Nobody said a word to me when I came in and took a seat. I waited there for an hour for a haircut. One of the barbers went home after she finished the client in her chair. And then there were two left, the one kept talking to his friend he had with him while taking forever to do simple haircuts. The oldest barber took a half an hour to do a simple childs haircut, and looked like he was going to do the same thing for the next kid. If you have allot of time to sit around and wait then this is a great place. I figured setting an hour aside from my day would be sufficient to get a haircut but i was wrong, I walked out and again no one said a word to me. You would be better off at haircuttery or super cuts. I’m glad I didnt even get the opportunity to spend money here.
