I wanted to create a barbershop near me with a different experience . I wanted bring joy to east los angeles and Boyle Heights. I want to create the best barber shop experience around. I wanted to create something different but also a local barbershop experience for everyone. I decided to create Brooklyn Ave Barber a barbershop that mixes culture, race, and the history of Los angeles. Brooklyn ave Barber is a vintage mens barber shop with a modern barbershop twist to it. We hope to be the barbershop shop you choose. Come by the barber shops open for everyone.

Tried out this new spot . We did not have an appt so we waited 1 hour and they took us in even when they were closing. Edgar was our barber so he cut my kids hair legit 1st cut I was surprised he let himself. That was the before and after.

I’m writing this just exiting the barber shop best fades in town and great service. The place is new and clean the guys all cut awesome. They cut mine and my younger brothers hair both came out great and will for sure return. It’s $20 walk in but also does have appointments. Well worth the price. Now all barber shops are $20 per cut and not always great but this barber shop you’ll always leave satisfied. Has atm and cash only

Great place! Most other shops I’ve visited have insane wait times for walk-ins or they have bad availability for appointments but Brooklyn Ave Barbershop tops them. The service is great, they take care of you fast, and the guys work is clean. Honestly, I first came to this shop because I’ve known my boy Bryan for a few years already and he’s the only one who can cut my hair the the way i like it.

By far one of the best Barber Shops I’ve been to, as soon as you walk in it’s a welcoming vibe! If you need to look hella fresh for any occasion this is by far the best place to get that fresh cut! Your barber is in charge of how you look for the next week or so, and you can definitely put your trust in these guys hands!

Came here to try it out and was not disappointed. They only had two barbers at the time I went. But it was worth the wait. They usually have more working at once but it was memorial day weekend. they gave me an exact haircut as I get from my regular barber. Will be coming here whenever I need a cut.

The business hours are 9-7 week days and on weekends 9-5. If you are in a rush you can make an appointment by calling. I’ve tried many other barbers shops that don’t get get a high fade correct. My barber Brian does an amazing job. The shop is very clean and there is music and TV while you wait. There is street parking and a small parking lot near the freeway where you can park for free.
