I’m so glad I have found this salon and Holly! I have had my hair highlighted and cut by Holly. Every time she has taken the time to explain to me the processes and why this would work for my hair type. The layers she cut into my hair are exactly what I’m looking for. I really enjoy the services and conversations we have when I come in! The small boutique type atmosphere is cozy and allows for everyone in the space to be a part of everything.

This place is THE BEST. It’s a total dream to have them right in La Plata. I love getting my hair cut here, it’s always easy to communicate what I want and get feedback on how to make it work with my hair type. The atmosphere is great, it’s easy to chitchat while you get your hair done or just sit back and listen (but it’s not crazy loud either!). SUCH a good option for people who value their hair and their look but don’t want to hike out to the city.

Gareth Jenkins has put together an amazing team at BritStyle Hair! Our whole family has been taken care of by Hope. She is simply amazing! Oh, and the entire shop is TIP FREE! That’s right, no tipping required or expected. The price quoted is the price you pay. Kind of like CarMax for hairstyling. if you want an indulgent, attentive salon experience then you must come to britstyle. gareth, the salon owner/operator, has taken care of my insanely curly hair twice in the past few months and now i will not go elsewhere to tame my mane. gareth used a straight razor technique that has created the most effective layers in my super thick hair. i mean, just getting your hair washed here is wonderful enough to keep coming back- head massage, anyone? there is no rush here, either, so prepare to be pampered. if you have to wait a bit to get in the chair just know the same time will be devoted to your locks!! super wonderful hair products, a salon staff who actually listen to what you desire, and great music all the while. and a no tip salon? does it get any better? definitely not! come see what’s good for your hair at britstyle…
