I had a very unpleasant experience at this spa. I came in to get previous dip polished removed, and new dip polish applied for another wedding. I do not get my nails done frequently and while uneasy during the process, I did not realize how strange things were until I spoke with a friend. I came in with dip polish from a wedding a few weeks ago. I was expecting them to remove it with remover but instead he ripped them off with a fake nail. When they started to apply the new dip, the skin around my finger soon began to burn extremely bad. It was not until I spoke up that she then grabbed a squirt bottle behind her that sprayed some solution (water, maybe?) to remove the sting. I asked her why they were burning and she told me that she had bought a new liquid to apply the dip. This new solution was suppose to help the dip dry faster. She stated they have been having issues with it burning which is why she had the squirt bottle. She told me she had to continue using it until it was all gone and she would then go back to what she used before. After we were done and things were paid, I began to look at my nails more closely. Many were not the same shape and one was filed way too far in. I called to explain the situation and ask for a refund as they were not acceptable and I preferred to go somewhere else since their products burned. I was told no refund would be given but I could come back in to fix the shape. I declined as I could not handle the pain of the burning again. Terrible customer service! I would recommend everyone to stay away from this place.

first time went to Brittany nails today happy they was able to get me in however I showed a picture of what I wanted which was stars and moons for Halloween she took pictures she looked at it and I got flames and a cobweb far cry from stars and moons. also she kept burning my skin, did not shake my nails with a file one of the tips when she put it on was broke she left it on and just covered it and then wanted to charge me and a ridiculous amount of money. I’ve learned my lesson I won’t go back my advice to others is do not go take your hard-earned money and go get quality from someone who will take time to give you what you want not what they want and do a nice job that will make you want to be a return customer. this is not that place actually I’d really like to have my money back!

Then I showed her a simple pink and white ombre Brittany said she could do it. She very quickly put my nails on and the white acrylic and the the pink. Then I sat and waited more while she did 2 more people. The nails are not the same length I asked for shorter and she acted like she didn’t want to go any shorter. The colors are not blended out well at all. I asked for coffen shape some are and some are square. Then to be told for a full set it was $85. I’ve been to several nail salons all over the states and never had my nails to start tingling and burning. I’m not for sure what she used that caused it. Either the nail glue or the powder. They was not straight and was very sharp. I will never go back there. Manicure

Took my daughter here twice (last time was April 11th) to get her nails done. The first time my daughter got acrylic, & I allowed Britney to do an overlay on my nails. She did a beautiful job on my daughters nails. However, I gave 4 stars instead of 5, only bcuz I can’t honestly say that I was satisfied with the simple overlay I got (I’m trying to let my nails grow out). She used the wrong kind of powder, & it looked too thick & bulky. Not at all natural like it should’ve.

Just throwing a heads up out there for Britneys Nails on thompson and emerson. I asked for regular polish, they gave me gel and I brought it up right when I noticed (I dont get my nails done often) and they told me gel is more money and that it comes with a guarantee since COVID makes us wash our hands more, I told them again I didn’t care about the guarantee but they wouldn’t change the polish. As you can see, 24 hours later its all peeling off. 2nd issue was I showed them a simple design and they said they could do it. Took 3 people 2 hours to just paint my nails and I did not get the design I wanted. 3rd issue was the lady used the same electric file on my hands as they used on my friends! No changing it. 4th they weren’t wearing mask and one lady kept arguing with me on colors/ telling me to go to the dollar store and get acetone to take the polish off myself instead of them fixing it. My friend still paid for the nails while I washed my hands and they told her that they charge for every color they messed up on. Please save yourself the hassel and money.

Got there and immediately felt rushed the poor girls working were trying to get a bite to eat while my feet were soaking no big deal to me at all. Brittany talks to the employee’s as they are not doing anything right. The young lady doing my pedicure was very sweet but didn’t even ask if I wanted a deluxe pedicure and I didn’t but paid for it anyway then got my nails done by Brittany and was not happy at all of how she rushed and was very pushy to get them done, how the shape of my nails were the paint and gell was on my fingers and not my whole nail they are uneven and sloppy. We had a conversation about who did my nails before and I told her my sister and she said an American, I said yes and she came back and said Americans shouldn’t have nail salons. I called after I left and am going back to get them fixed I hope but will not return after this.
