Got a gel fill and manicure by Rosa and I loved it. It was my first time going to this shop and I’ll definitely be returning. Rosa was incredibly patient and took her time making sure my nails looked perfect. I would definitely recommend her. Love the finished product. Gel manicures

Wasn’t able to use this business. I called on my lunch break at 12:30 to see if they can take me for an appointment for 4:30. They said of course and to come in for then. I showed up at about 4:25. They had a bunch of people sitting getting their nails done and waiting. So I figured I would have some wait time. No, I got told that my appointment was going to be pushed back for another 45 minutes to an hour because the appointment before me came in late and then they have other people in front of me. I looked at the woman and said okay so I no longer have have an appointment. She goes if you wait. I wasn’t going to wait there for a whole hour. I had to walk out.

I contemplated writing this because racism can be so subtle these days I questioned myself. But, I had gone here a few times and I liked it. Until one day I had an appt at 2pm and I arrived early at about 1:50pm, picked my color as instructed and waited to be called for my pedicure. At around 2:05pm a Caucasian woman walked in and I heard her say she had a 2:00appt as well. Tell me why they spoke in their native language and the husband I guess told the woman in charge to have the customer who came late to sit at the pedicure chair before me. All the while they knew I was waiting. I walked out and the woman called me and asked why I left and I told her. I won’t ever support a business that shows any bit of racism to anyone. Don’t support them if your coming from Bridgeport and are black or brown.

I visited for the first time today and I had such an amazing experience. Everyone is so kind and friendly. I was offered tea or water with lemon to relax and my nails are the best I’ve ever had them! My nail technician was Rosa and she did a phenomenal job! I would highly recommend scheduling an appointment because they can get busy and thankfully I called ahead. If you are looking for great service, a relaxing atmosphere and affordable price, definitely go to Bright Nails! I can’t wait to go back already. 🙂

Never going back again. Before they say I must have the wrong place lets just to be clear… this is the right place. My cuticles are cut up and finger and toes were bleeding. I am pretty sure they cut me under my nail. Tools are not thoroughly cleaned or sanitized. They didn’t even change the towel I put my feet on. The person who cut my nails had no idea what she was doing and had to constantly ask what to do or be told what to do. Specifically during the pedicure/massage she got up while the timer was on and left for 2 minutes, came back and didn’t reset it. She didn’t put enough wax in the bag to cover my entire foot (paid for the full not just the heel) and didn’t let the wax settle. Everything was rushed. If I wanted my nails done like this I would have done them myself. NEVER AGAIN.
