I came in for a cut and color. It was during the pandemic, and I was surprised how, in a big space, how closely the next stylist and their customer were seated. I had booked with the highest level stylist, and he took over two hours longer than we had arranged. My color was not what we agreed, although I know sometimes going lighter is a process, but what really upset me was the cut with the color. I was going from shoulder length to shorter than chin length, like a long pixie. The stylist had spent hours coloring my hair, but then cut it in such a way that there were visible stripes in the back where he had poorly blended near the nape. Actual horizontal stripes of natural brown amid the new blonde after hours of foiling! The cut was terrible and extremely rushed. The hair around my ears resembled a choppy Gulf of Mexico on one side and a mismatched shape in the other. I was still charged the full amount which was HUNDREDS, even as the stylist was apologizing to me at checkout, and had to take another afternoon off work and pay another babysitter to come back for him to fix and finish. It was still poorly done and far from my desired outcome (which we had discussed with photos in great detail prior to both sessions). I will never go back and am still angry to this day that I was still made to pay.

This salon is amazing definitely 5 stars! Clean, tidy and smells good. Fantastic customer service especially from cute Lily at the front desk! She is friendly and welcoming. She also happens to be my daughter so there might be a tad bit of bias, but see for yourself. 🙂 Andrew was my stylist, and he gave me a very Spa treatment! I felt cozy and well cared for the whole time. My haircut and style was incredible! I highly recommend him and I also recommend a botanical treatment. My hair was super shiny and smelled amazing! I will go back to Andrew for haircuts and color from now on!!

I haven’t really ever had a great experience at Aveda salons in general, but I did go to brick canvas aveda on several occasions just for a quick blowout. Everything was always fine, but a few weeks ago I called to schedule a blowout and the girl on the phone just said “we don’t do blowouts.” Uhh.. okay? I’ve probably had at least 10 there and they even gave me a punch card JUST for blowouts. Will not be returning… since apparently they no longer offer blowouts.

My experience with bricks canvas was wonderful! They had excellent care and attention to detail as well as comfort every step of the way. I have to start off by saying I have a ton of hair that’s hard to manage on a daily basis. The texture was brittle and dry, so I went in for a treatment. The stylist who took care of me, Melissa, worked wonders and ultimately transformed my hair. The treatments made my hair so soft and shiny; my hair has never looked this good to be honest. I was incredibly happy with the results and Melissa definitely is a professional who knows what she is talking about and doing, she had expert advice and recommendations.

I am in LOVE with my hair (and addicted to the licorice root tea) after visiting Brick Canvas Aveda. My color was done by Lisa, who started my experience off with an incredible shoulder, neck and scalp massage and a detailed consultation about what I wanted. I felt totally relaxed throughout and Lisa did an amazing job getting my dark hair lightened evenly and beautifully – I can’t wait to see her again in a few weeks for phase 2. After a luxurious wash I went to Andrew for my cut. I’ve never been picky about haircuts before, but styling it is so effortless now that I’ll never go to anyone else!

I LOVED getting my hair done at Brick Canvas Aveda! It is such a nice space and such great customer service. Melissa is AMAZING at what she does! The balayage she did is incredible. She really knows what she is doing and is so kind and willing to do whatever you want but will make sure that it turns out looking good and how you want it. She is knowledgeable about what will make your hair look good and products that can get you the hair that you want. I would HIGHLY recommend you go to Melissa for ANY coloring or hair needs because you won’t regret it. 10/10 recommend. SO WORTH IT

This is a truly beautiful space, with excellent service. The staff and stylists are friendly and knowledgeable, the licorice tea is to DIE for, and those windows–what a view! The complimentary scalp massage that comes with your haircut is maybe my favorite part… the oils they use smell sooo good and are so relaxing. And, of course (the most important part), my haircut was exactly what I wanted. My hair feels healthy and happy and looks completely fabulous. 😀 I HIGHLY recommend Brick Canvas Aveda!
