I moved to the DMV from Detroit and had the hardest time finding a hairstylist. I have LUPUS and because of this I have suffered hair loss from time to time. Right now dealing with the loss of hair around my edges. So I was looking for a stylist that could provide a protective style so I wouldn’t feel uncomfortable with my hair loss. I found Bre’s Beauty Bar on Instagram. Her styles looked AMAZING! So I went to see if she as accepting new clients. When I came to the shop I was truly impressed with the look. It reminded me of my old shop in Detroit. Bre was styling someone’s hair but took the time to talk to me and setup my appointment. On the day of my appointment which was 8:30a the shop opened on time and her assistant prepped my hair for Bre to come style it. It was a GREAT experience! I got a full weave install and wanted a simple bob hairstyle. But Bre convinced me to not cut the hair and let her style it. And yes she style the hell out of it! I felt like my old self again. Trust me when I say she is really gifted. I think my search is finally over and I can call Bre my hairstylist now. I have my follow up appointment next weekend. It seems good to have something to look forward because my crown was shifted but Bre has straightened it up and now I’m wearing with pride again.

She is knowledgeable and takes the time to not just do your hair but explain what she is doing and check in with you during the process to make sure she is delivering what you like. Critical: ProfessionalismCalled this morning and Bre answered the phone. Asked a question about the days services are provided for Groupon eyelashes. She stated rudely the dates are Tues-Thurs and all this information is on Groupons website. I mentioned to Bre that the dates are different on your website. She said “what does it say” just rude and unprofessional. I called to get clarification before I purchased. I would never refer anyone to Bre’s Beauty Bar Salon. She stated rudely the dates are Tues-Thurs and all this information is on Groupons website. I mentioned to Bre that the dates are different on your website.
