It was great that the receptionist called me ahead of my appointment time to let me know the stylist was running late so I should show up 15 minutes later. The stylist was nice, personable and made sure she was cutting my hair how I wanted it to be cut. She did a great job.

Disappointing second visit experience. First time I left feeling fantastic. With a different stylist this time, I left knowing I would have to wear my hair in a bun to my special event because the stylist wasn’t able to give me the great haircut I expected. My hair was shorter but didn’t have any of the style or lift I had hoped for. I know each stylist has different abilities but I went to Brecyn trusting that any of their stylists would be able to give me a great haircut.

I got a hair cut done by Elizabeth and she did a good job but the professionalism did not match to what I’ve experienced in the past at Brecyn Salon. The stylist walked away twice during my hair cut which I was ok with but then she tried sending me out with wet hair. When she had to step away the second time she told she me that she might have someone else finish my hair cut midway through my appointment. Then when she was finished with cutting/layering, she asked if it would be okay to send me out with wet hair or if it would be bad. I ended up getting the service I wanted but I felt really uncomfortable during my appointment. I usually have really good experiences at Brecyn but not this time.

My stylist added on multiple “extras” without mentioning how much it would cost (or that there even WAS a cost…). She only asked “do you want this?” Ended up having to pay $150 more than what I was planning/budgeting and had no clue until I was at the front desk with my credit card. Do everyone a favor: be transparent with pricing or extras. Don’t just ask if the client wants it or not. I shouldn’t be expected to know what everything costs, especially since the prices online aren’t even accurate.

The worst blowout I have ever had. My hair was frizzy afterwards . My face was burning during the blowout. The girl was nice but I think she might have been learning. I just feel like I overpaid for something that I had to redo at home. Never again. Blowouts

Never kept my appt. Didn’t not feel genuine customer service from staff. I have short hair and they kept trying to get me to go from a $45 stylist to a $60 stylist. A pic of my hair is posted. No way would I ever spend that much for my cut. I now get it done for $25 and an totally in love with my stylist!

Went in 3 times total. The first stylists did amazing and then she moved. Went to a different stylist who was supposed to specialize in blondes and she completely screwed my hair up color and cut . After a month of complaining they finally set me up with someone else and she tried to help her colleague but my hair couldn’t be fixed.

I have been getting my hair cut at BreCyn salon for 20+ years! I highly recommend Andrea. She’s amazing at cutting hair and is easy to communicate with, always willing to talk about ideas for what style of cut to do. For me, she has done many men’s styles from long to short and everywhere in between. The staff at this salon are always friendly. They offer online booking as well.
